Now…don’t start freaking out if you live in Airdrie, Alberta.

It was from Brampton, Ontario…and forwarded on to Tracey Wilson, on Twitter.
It would be absolutely terrifying to live through this sort of ordeal. Even when we get the rogues going through our neighborhood just stealing out of backyards and cars, it leaves you with a sense of invasion, not like you feel safe in your own hood anymore.
I’ve lived in the same neighborhood and in the same home in NW Calgary for the last 3 decades and while it is relatively safe, we’ve seen some shit.
Most recently, the RCMP coming through the neighborhood looking for video footage of the streets, where a truck was stolen from our community and recovered with a Dead Corpse outside of City Police jurisdiction.
In my neighborhood, over the last 30 years, we’ve seen crime noticeably increasing and this is absolutely 100% to do with the C-Train now stopping at Dalhousie Station, known to be excellent sources of transportation to get in and out of neighborhoods where you commit petty theft.
Prior to the new station arriving…while I am sure there were some crimes, the only one that comes to mind is some rando stranger stealing hoses and sprinklers from people yards in the middle of the night…maybe the odd bicycle go missing.
Despite the Stolen Truck/Homicide incident, in addition to the great number of broken shop windows, armed robberies, catalytic converter thefts and unlocked vehicles being ransacked, I still consider this to be a safe place to raise a family.
So, yeah…this isn’t an ‘oh woe is me’, posting.
But what is going on in Airdrie?
You don’t have to think that you missed some major story on a crime wave in Airdrie, but it’s not happening. Barring kid pranks and perhaps the odd theft…it’s probably more safer than my community.
However…the Feds just gave Airdrie, $1 Million Clams to help keep their neighborhoods safe, specifically to prevent gun crime and gang violence.
And this was given by none other than Southern Alberta’s only Liberal MP:
George (Porch Pirate) Chahal.
It’s not even in his constituency…this area is part of Conservative MP - Blake Richards.
And just so you know that I am not Downplaying the Gun Violence Threat in Airdrie, Alberta…the above story fully drills it down:
“We are fortunate we have relatively zero gun and gang violence here in the community,” Brown said. “However, we want to keep it that way.”
ZERO Gun Violence…not relatively zero…Absolute ZERO!
Airdrie has been gifted a Million Taxpayer Clams for a problem that doesn’t even exist…when there are communities in Canada - like Brampton, Ontario - where thugs are literally trying to kick doors down to rob people.
Here’s the best part of the story…
They have absolutely no idea what to do with the money or how to actually disperse it…for the simple reason being, how do you fix a problem that doesn’t even exist?

While there were no specifics on which community groups will benefit from the $1 million, Brown said the city is partnering with both the local RCMP detachment and the Rocky View Schools Division to help administer or carry out any programming that results from the funding.
It’s ridiculous.
At the most expensive time to live in Canada, where food banks break records with each passing month, Liberals are going outside of their constituencies to BUY votes with dollars earmarked, where no problems can be found.
And this kind of transparent vote buying didn’t start here, for the Calgary and area communities…they did this very same thing in Calgary…as well as shucking out another $1.1 Million Dollars to the Tsuu T’ina Nation:
Airdrie’s funding allotment from the Building Safer Communities Fund comes six months after Calgary received $7.7 million and the Tsuu T’ina Nation received $1.1 million from the same federal program.
It’s without a doubt we are all seeing an increase in crime in our neighborhoods…this is part and parcel with the massive influx of economic migrants and rampant poverty that the Liberal Governments have thrust us into…an increase in crime.
But what they are doing isn’t looking to solve these problems…they are openly trying to buy votes.
