You’d have to have rocks in your head to think that adding tax to any product or service would lower the price of those products or services, yet Justin and Jagmeet claim the complete inverse.

The Parliamentary Budget Officer lays it out here.

In previous statements, he’d confirmed that 8:10 people do not, in fact, get more back - when comes to net savings after rebates because the expense of Carbon Tax raises the costs by way of periphery - what you and I already know.

From manufacturing, production, transport, storage and resale…the compounding factor along the way will continue to drive the prices up on all - and this doesn’t even mention that you have to still pay GST on the Carbon Tax - taxing on taxing - which is even more ridiculous.

Hearing now that Interest Rates may have dropped if the Carbon Tax was eliminated, could have saved a lot of people from losing their home, being able to make their payments, reduce the cost of their heating as well as costs of goods across the board.

Instead, the Liberals supported by the NDP as well as their other coaligned party - the Bloc - decided to keep this in place to punish Canadians, knowing full well that they were going to be delivering the 2024 budget this month - which was a colossal joke and insult to all Canadians.

More Fair for All Generations - is their tag line…but what this actually means is that they are not going to be removing the boot from your neck, they are just going to be dropping another boot on the neck of other people by way of the Capital Gains Tax.

PBO lays it out here in that this may have been to drive additional revenue early, these sellers won’t be taking it as hard in the pants following implementation at the end of June, 2024.

Just a complete disaster…but now you’ve heard it from the horses mouth…so to speak, and have it on record.
