Meanwhile, regenerative agriculture methods of intensive rotational grazing can supply way more protein from meat, poultry, eggs and dairy than any damn cricket farm, AND produce healthy topsoil and pasture diversity for beneficial insects, birds, small mammals, as well as improving the ground absorption of precipitation which reduces flooding risks.
That's why they're trying to squeeze farmers and their cattle in an effort to end meat consumption. They know the market won't go ze bugs so they'll force people into the corner by basically taking over farming.
And yet the " beyond meat " section at my local Safeway keeps growing. Is anyone buying these products or do they just have a long shelf life in the refrigerated aisle? I wonder if it's a marketing ploy. Take up increasingly more space in the store to convey the " idea" that this is healthier food.
My local ‘low income’ grocery market is where they are all donated once they near expiry. In order to shop there, you must show proof of being on low income or social assistance. I stopped shopping there because mostly what they sell are sugary candy, beverages, limp produce, various types of junk food, seed oil based condiments and tons of FAKE meat products. At around half price of the big supermarket chains.
Trust me, they’re dumping this crap on the poor. I won’t touch it, even at 50% off.
Couple of years ago, our heavily government subsidized ‘artisan farm market’ was pushing Insect Salt. No takers. Glad to see they were not back this year.

Your conclusion is captive to your assumptions. The first, is in assuming a real market will be around to provide us with the freedom of choice to decide whether to eat ze bugs or not. The second, is in assuming ze bugs is a "bug" in the Great Reset and not a feature along with killing all the farm animals, farmland, chemtrails, blocking out the sun, nitrogen supply, industry changes in the trucking industry, telling us home gardening will get you 3 years in jail, organizing protests will get you censored and 5 years in jail, while their unleashing gain of function viruses and self-replicating m-rna which sheds by the day, etc, etc.
