Remember last year, around this time, when we were in various stages of lockdowns, fully masked, businesses closed, people were working from home, Zoom meetings and online learning from K-University and we were all in this together? Remember doing all of these things because, if you didn’t, you were literally going to kill Grandma?
If you’ve read my previous post, you know that this was all bullshit. During the COVID season, when Canada experienced it’s highest mortality from COVID, it was because we took a respiratory virus that impacted those aged 60+ and locked all of those aged 60+ up in places where respiratory viruses flourish - Supportive Living and Long Term Care Facilities. It may have not played out exactly the same throughout all of Canada, Quebec stopped treating those with COVID symptoms altogether and just gave them Morphine and let them die. In any case, it seems like those who were in control of making the decisions to save lives and protect Canadians from a Global Pandemic, completely shit the sheets.
NOW…
The narrative has shifted and it’s a lot more troubling than I originally may have imagined.
Old Narrative: Protect Grandma.
New Narrative: We need to protect the vaccinated because the unvaccinated are threat to vaccinated.
Is being Vaccinated for COVID now a ‘recognized comorbidity’ of COVID?
Let’s drill into it.
Up to August 21, 2021 - government is slow on updating these stats - 15% of those hospitalized from COVID were vaccinated - 5,676, and there has been 1,463 Deaths following vaccinations.
What is amazing about these statistics is that “Cases Not Protected”, are the Highest of the vaccinated state for COVID related deaths and a really close 2nd to hospitalizations. (Cases “Not Protected”, are those who died within 14 days of having their second vaccine and cannot therefore be classified as fully vaccinated deaths.)
These are the people that seem like they need to be protected as are the ones who are partially vaccinated, 2nd highest in attendance on the mortality statistics.
Maybe, just spit-balling here…Taxing your immune system during a global pandemic is a terrible idea?
Taxing your Immune System right now may be a Terrible Idea
We’re almost a month delayed in this report being updated.
Wonder what it looks like now?
Me too…I’m going to be doing a lot more digging into this.
Anyways, I compared these deaths, which will most likely be classified as “Rare” to the Province of Alberta. Laid across the Comorbidity board, being vaccinated with one or more doses would put this group as the 2nd highest hit on the comorbidity scale, “Cases Not Protected” would be 5th, above Cancer, Stroke, Liver Diseases and Immuno-Deficiency Diseases.
Appreciating that the population of Canada is greater than the population of Alberta, if this is the current standing, what are we looking at next year? The year after? Until vaccinated deaths from COVID catch up with disease?
Is there any other plan?
We knew old people were the highest risk of mortality last year and we thought we were working hard to protect them. Are those who have been vaccinated now the highest risk and need protection?
Is this what our health officials are trying to tell us.
If it is, that’s actually pretty scary.
