It feels surreal, am I in Canada or some ... I cannot even compare with any other places as I have been around the world, but I have not seen this level of abuse of their citizens ANYWHERE ELSE.

Does anyone really think Premier Danielle Smith will do anything similar to Saskatchewan’s move to withhold Tax?

With appointing former ousted Premier Alison Redford to Alberta Invest, why it’s no wonder the gasoline tariff didn’t get removed as it should have, adding a 16¢ per litre hit to Albertan’s fuel costs at the pump. With Redford’s ability to abscond with money, the Province likely needs saving every dime to to support her spending sprees. (Did we ever get back the $45k for her personal attendance to Nelson Mandela’s funeral? See https://truenorthwire.com/2024/06/smith-appoints-scandal-plagued-former-alberta-premier-to-invest-alberta-board/ for the reasons Redford was turfed.)

Somehow, Emperor Smith’s attitude has abruptly changed. Did a bunch of WEF’ers get together and read her the riot act to toe their line on The Great Reset? Busting up everything economically in order to “Build Back Better”? (I’m sure most everyone has heard about how in the future, you will own nothing and be happy”. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zUjsEaKbkM)

BTW, you know what happened after Redford was turfed. Jim Prentice was appointed interim Premier and announced that due to fiscal shortages, Alberta was contemplating a Sales Tax. Further, as unelected Premiere, said that Albertans wouldn’t mind a sales tax. (Albertans were so incensed, they voted NDP in the next election, and look what that got us!)

Is this all part of a plan to break trust in the current UCP Government? Make people go back to NDP?

As a person residing in British Columbia, subjected to an NDP Provincial government, I can only look with longing to Saskatchewan standing up to our Federal Government. And I'm still rooting for Danielle Smith in Alberta. I am so hoping that in British Columbia we elect a conservative government but it's a big hill to climb.

I am heartened by the recent Toronto By Election.

Over my lifetime as a voter I have alternately voted either Liberal or Conservative at the Federal level. I suffer from no allegiances to either party. I just want good common sense government which appears to be sadly lacking at all levels of government including the Municipal level.

I currently feel so strongly that both the Liberal and NDP are the worst possible choices for Canada if we have any hope for survival and a chance to reclaim our country that I actually became a member of the Conservative party. Apart from the constant pledges for donations I felt strongly enough to make this symbolic step.

I'm trying to keep my eye on the bigger context which are the G7 countries and the apparent shifting of political values and beliefs that are occurring right now. I personally am hoping the pendulum will swing back to saner days and commen sense but it may be easier said than done.

There are major elections coming up right now in the next 16 months which includes Great Britain, France, the United States and Canada. These are 4 of the G7 Countries. The remaining 3, Germany, Italy and Japan. Italy has had a recent election and have moved from. the far left. Germany doesn't want to call an election right now given the recent surge of the right wing vote during the European Elections.

All in all it will be an interesting few months that we weave into our tapestry of history.

This whole carbon tax scam is build on lies. No body can change the climate by taxing the people.

Secondly in my opinion there is nothing wrong with the climate. That brings up Danielle Smith.

She believes or goes along with the whole climate change scam. She intent to use Albertans money for Carbon Capture and Storage. This is also a scam which is going to cost us billions.

So in reality, Saskatchewan can not expect to much support from Smith, because I think she is not on our side. Redford and her admiration for Francois-Philippe Champagne are big red flags.

Unfortunately, Doug Ford in Ontario will keep carbon tax, screwing Ontarians at the behest of his best bud JT. During the plandemic Ford had his head so far up JT's hind end he was blinded. Ford is just another Liberal in it for the Liberal Toronto votes. His Party is well known as Liberal Lites.

Unbelievable. But this only makes the libs look worse and they may not care about Sask votes but the rest of the country is also watching. All premiers should get behind Sask.
