Meat, Your Immune System?
Previous Post: Vaccine Hesitancy - Hidden in the Stats
Yeah, I meant to say that.
This isn’t an introduction to immunity; it’s a guide to feeding and maintaining your immune system.
It’s a bit of a wormhole…
[Spoiler Alert]
I have a lot of connections in my network who are vegan/vegetarian including:
Joel Kahn MD - Clinical Professor of Medicine/Cardiology.
Low-Carb Practitioners:
Gary Fettke and his wife Belinda.
And, if you’ve seen anything on the harmful effects of Sugar:
Robert Lustig - MD - Professor emeritus of pediatrics, Division of Endocrinology, UCSF.
Not to escape recognition, I have several others that are worthy of a follow that also have some great information on managing your health:
Alex (Kennerly) Vasquez DO ND DC FACN - Physician, Researcher, Presenter, Academician, Editor, Consultant, Author of >100 professional publications;
Dr. Kate Marishta MPH, Dip Nutrition - Director at Greenleaf Executive Nutrition Health-Integrative clinic. Health Sciences Biohacker;
Dr. Pat Boulogne - Book Author/Bestseller | Why Are You Sick, Fat, and Tired?;
Manny Noakes - BSc, Dip. Nutrition & Diet. PhD, GAICD Nutrition Consultant and MLA Board Director;
David Kashmer MD MBA FACS - Surgeon.
You see, all of these Health Practitioners and Doctors have a commonality in that they advocate for healthy lifestyles as a primary source of cure by way of ‘prevention of disease’ ahead of pharmaceuticals. These are the people that need a bigger audience during a global pandemic than Dr. Fauci gets.
When you look at the list of comorbidities of the worst severity of COVID, the easiest thing to overlook is that these are all consumption related diseases.
Hypertension
Cardio-Vasular Disease
Renal Diseases
*Diabetes
Dementia
Respiratory Diseases
Cancer
Stroke
Liver Diseases
Immuno-Deficiency Diseases
*Type 2 Diabetes - insulin resistance.
And it’s even easier to overlook that each of these conditions have or are being actively treated by surgery, OTC medications/Prescribed pharmaceuticals and regular doctors appointments (the cancer conversation is coming).
COVID Vaccines and 163 other medications I won't take for you.
One more thing overlooked by the AHS list of comorbidities is included fairly specifically in the list from Health Canada:
This for a specific purpose, I hope.
BMI is a bit ambiguous and can cause confusion to the conversation. It relies on generalities to define obesity.
Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to adult men and women.
The link will bring you to a Body Mass Calculator, showing that the only things that are relevant are Your Height and Your Weight, not actually measuring ‘body fat’.
When we think of obesity, we think of it like this:
On the extreme right is the visual representation of Obesity and what we may think of when we think of the term - Obesity by Body Mass Index - and also the same fella mentioned by the Government of Canada as - Living with obesity, such as having a body mass index (BMI) of 40 or higher. So, where is the ambiguity?
Because this measure doesn’t actually measure ‘fat mass’, by way of height to weight ratio, it’s all about the poundage vs height which would technically make“The Terminator”, Obese:
Too much weight for too small of height is the common denominator, but not by visual definition of the various stages of overweight/obesity.
The ‘thing’ about it is, both conditions may actually lead to the severity of your symptoms from COVID and Vaccinations against COVID.
This is where the misunderstanding comes into play and where the panic porn continues - by not identifying the similarity in conditions of both - fit and healthy: height impairment to body mass ratio.
Taxing your Immune System right now may be a Terrible Idea
Lending to this confusion, is the age of mortality, by sexes(I am not interested in your opinion on this):
And you are creating the Venn diagram of:
I’ve touched on these topics loosely in my previous posts, just trying to bring it all together.
I did mention ‘wormhole’, right?
If you disagree with what I’ve said up to this point, please let me know. I work hard to keep my information sources reasonable and relevant but if you have anything else that may lend to the conversation, I am all ears.
There is a lot to unpack here, so I will be doing this in stages. Mostly to keep you on the edge of your seat, but if not that, to try and make you NOT fall asleep while reading my content.
