I’ve started a deep dive into some of the CDC VAERS Data to try and both gain and lend perspective into COVID Vaccine Hesitancy.
14,506 Deaths, 58,440 Hospitalizations, 18,593 Permanent Disabilities, 14,593 Life Threatening Conditions following vaccinations should be enough reason to rationalize a little hesitancy but it actually goes a lot deeper.
The goal posts on vaccinations is pretty fluid as is the definition of the term, “Fully Vaccinated”.
The CDC, through the clinical studies of Pfzier, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine consider you Fully Vaccinated:
In general, people are considered fully vaccinated: ±
2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or
2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen vaccine
If you don’t meet these requirements, regardless of your age, you are NOT fully vaccinated. Keep taking all precautions until you are fully vaccinated.
While in Israel:
Health Minister Horowitz says that since the vaccine loses effectiveness over time, proof of immunity will no longer be valid for those who have not had the booster
With talks about additional doses:
Salman Zarka says COVID-19 is here to stay for and that next booster shot may be adjusted for variants: ‘This is our life from now on, in waves’
In my last post, I covered risk associated with each dose of the vaccine in that the above numbers posted by VAERS are the sum of all Adverse Events from All injections - up to the 3rd Dose - 1,769 Total Events, including 20 Deaths, 64 Hospitalized, 19 Life Threatening Conditions - without a booster plan even initiated in the United States yet - Newly Updated Figures 3rd Dose Only:
Each dose of the vaccine carries some risk of Adverse Events and your requirement to keep a “Fully Vaccinated” status will depend on additional doses.
This too seems like a good reason to be a little hesitant, but it still goes deeper.
Israel has given 2,795,148 3rd doses leaving a portion of its vaccinated in a status of “Partially Vaccinated” or “Not Vaccinated”:
Not unique to Israel, we see the same thing globally but don’t really gain any full context into what this really means. With almost 8 billion people on the planet and only 42% of them having their first dose, there is still a majority of people being labelled as Anti-Vaxxers and Vaccine Hesitancy:
Availability may account for a large portion of those not vaccinated and some of those in the “At Least 1 Dose” - just don’t have supply of COVID Vaccines - that light green area on the Worldwide Vaccination Chart also accounts for mortality following vaccinations as in, there are a number of people who have died from a number of reasons that will not be getting additional doses - Vaccines, COVID, Cancer, Car Accidents…There really isn’t much discussion needed on this.
Vaccine Hesitancy - Hidden in the Stats
What the statistics don’t show is the impact of an adverse reaction and how far reaching this can go in creating hesitancy.
Imagine being a parent of any of the above 20,182 Adverse Events in Children under the age of 18. It’s horrible to even think about.

increased body temperature, seizure, death
chest pain; cardiac arrest; Skin cold clammy; A 2-month-old male patient received bnt162b2; This is a spontaneous report received from a contactable Other Health Care Professional by Pfizer from the Regulatory Agency. Regulatory authority report number GB-MHRA-WEBCOVID-202102021734202250, Safety Report Unique Identifier GB-MHRA-ADR 24687611. A 2-month-old male patient received bnt162b2 (PFIZER-BIONTECH COVID-19 VACCINE) lot number: EL 739, via an unspecified route of administration on 02Feb2021 at single dose for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Patient has not had symptoms associated with COVID-19. Not had a COVID-19 test. Unsure if patient was enrolled in clinical trial. Patient administered vaccination, observed for 15 minutes left the clinic then returned one hour later on 02Feb2021, presenting as skin cold, clammy and with chest pain, cardiac arrest event then developed, patient stabilised and transferred for further medical treatment. Patient had not tested positive for COVID-19 since having the vaccine. The outcome of the events was unknown. This case was reported as serious with seriousness criteria-life threatening from HA. No follow-up attempts possible. No further information expected.
Nausea; Sensation of heat; Muscle spasm; Myoclonic jerks; Head pressure; Jaw pain; Nerve pain; Hypertension; Glands swollen; Tiredness; Poor sleep; Muscle fatigue; Eyelid twitching; Tingling tongue/Mouth paresthesia; Pins and needles; Patient's age: 3-year-old;
Imagine your child reacting to natural feeding:
Seizure; Breastfeeding after Vaccination;
Patient is breastfed by mother, who was vaccinated on 3/10. Patient developed jaundice 3/11, and was admitted for evaluation of hemolytic anemia. Evaluation ongoing. Likely not related to vaccine, but occurred within 2 days of possible to vaccine components via breastmilk
Patient received second dose of Pfizer vaccine on March 17, 2020 while at work. March 18, 2020 her 5 month old breastfed infant developed a rash and within 24 hours was inconsolable, refusing to eat, and developed a fever. Patient brought baby to local ER where assessments were performed, blood analysis revealed elevated liver enzymes. Infant was hospitalized but continued to decline and passed away. Diagnosis of TTP. No known allergies. No new exposures aside from the mother's vaccination the previous day.
I (mother of patient ) received the first dose of the Moderna vaccine on Friday June 18th at approximately 01:30pm. I fed my three month old daughter milk that I pumped from my breasts later that night and put her to bed. When transferring her to her bassinet at approximately 11:30pm, she started a seizure that lasted seven minutes. We were transported to Hospital where she suffered two more seizures in the early morning hours of June 19th. She has been a healthy baby with no health conditions prior to these events.
Imagine you’ve had your child vaccinated because you just wanted them to be safe, get back to school, play with friends…
Patient reported difficulty breathing and chest pain; suffered cardiac arrest and death
Patient was a 16yr female who received Pfizer vaccine 3/19/21 at vaccine clinic and presented with ongoing CPR to the ED 3/28/21 after cardiac arrest at home. Patient placed on ECMO and imaging revealed bilateral large pulmonary embolism as likely etiology of arrest. Risk factors included oral contraceptive use. Labs have since confirmed absence of Factor V leiden or prothrombin gene mutation. Patient declared dead by neurologic criteria 3/30/21.
Heart failure
Unexplained death within 48 hours
Prodrome of headache and gastric upset over 2 days following second dose. Then felt fine. Found the following day dead in bed. Autopsy pending
Patient presented to the ED with dizziness, fever and heavy vaginal bleeding around 24 hours after receiving her first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. She was tested for active COVID-29 infection via nasal swab PCR and tested positive. Upon presentation labs were drawn and her platelet count was found to be 8 on 5/15. Repeat labs were drawn that day to confirm low platelet count and confirmed diagnosis and thrombocytopenia secondary to an immune reaction to the vaccine was suspected. She was admitted and was started on tranexamic acid, medroxyprogesterone, dexamethasone and IV immunoglobulin (Ig) to help treat low platelet count and vaginal bleeding. As of writing, she is still admitted and her most recent platelet count on 5/17 was 16.
13 year old previously healthy male presenting on 6/13/2021 with petechiae and ecchymosis. Found to have thrombocytopenia (platelet count 2). Diagnosed with ITP. Currently admitted and receiving IVIG. No adverse sequelae of ITP thus far.
Try imagine being the parent who had to submit this:
My son received his 1st shot of the vaccine on 5/15/21 lot # ew0177. On 5/27/21, my wife found my son in his bedroom unresponsive to verbal commands. He was dazed and confused and stared off into space when my wife tried to talk to him. After a minute or so, he stood up and tried to walk but he was staggering and ended up fainting and falling down. My wife took my son to the emergency room. The doctors examined him and ran blood tests, including a tox screen, but could find nothing wrong with him. We followed up with his family doctor the following week and she found nothing wrong other than dehydration. On 6/5/21, my son received his 2nd dose of the vaccine lot #ew0202. On 6/11/21, my son had a major seizure at home with convulsions, was unresponsive and had to be taken from our home by ambulance to the hospital. The emergency room doctors performed a CT Scan and other tests and again could find no reason for the seizure. My son has been healthy his entire life and has never experienced anything like this before. My son is very active with travel soccer and in very good health. I do not know if the vaccine was the cause of these two episodes but it seems to be the only common thread
Do you think this parent may be a little hesitant if he’s requested or required to get a booster shot for their child?
COVID Risk for Ages 0-17 - US Data - CDC - 2x more likely do die from Pneumonia:
If you were a parent or grandparent, aunt or uncle, neighbor, babysitter, teacher…and read through any of the above and included on the Adverse Event Descriptions, would you be a little vaccine hesitant?
The statistics alone can paint a pretty grim picture of the vaccine programs and anybody reading the statistics has enough information that a little reluctance is reasonable, when you see a little more into the depths of what is happening, a lot more so. If you are one of the COVID Vaccine Hesitant, it only means that you are paying attention.
There are additional low risk age groups that I will be diving into and summarizing.
Please feel free to share this information on your social media networks. We could really use more understanding and tolerance with a lot less name calling and vaccine hesitant shaming. Understanding the information and statistics is a very important part of this.
