The BC NDP is the epitome of failed leadership. They are destroying healthcare in BC. Bill 36 is a forced vaccination/censorship bill for Drs and HCW which the BC NDP passed with zero input from the groups it affects or voting taxpayers. There is a recall petition for David Eby which hopefully succeeds.I was fired from a prov govt job for refusing the experimental vaccine and was lucky enough to find a better job - self employment, grateful every day. The BC NDP, David Eby, Adrian Dix and Dr. Bonnie Bullshit Henry are everything that is wrong with this once amazing place to live. I truly hope that Alta learns from watching BC and that the NDP never get elected in your province. 😞

The NDP has always supported rules and regulations that have made Canada's public health system a joke in the West. I work in a field where many internationals pass through temporarily for work. Some take the decision to either stay or go back. Lemme tell ya, whether they're from Argentina or Brazil, USA or Australia, Italy or France and so on, ALL mock our health system in Quebec. That's telling you something. According to them. 18-hour waits in an emergency are just about non-existent in their countries.

I asked one person if the government of Canada tells potential immigrants about the 'unique' language laws in Quebec. She said no they don't. Which, to me, is not right. Be up front about it. You come here, you can't send your kids to the school of YOUR choice. This person left Quebec fot Ottawa because of that.

"and the result was more people dying from COVID in 2022 than died from COVID in the 2 years prior, combined."

BUT IT SAVED MILLIONS I TELL YA. NET BENEFIT.

Reading about B.C. (and you should see the pathetic propaganda ads in Quebec. I mean, it's pitiful. Social engineering based on behavioural science quackery and pseudoscience) makes me ashamed to be Canadian.

About 25 years ago there was an idiot hardcore Quebec nationalist who said on Quebec TV (with not a single outcry for an apology) in French, 'Canada is a nation of assholes'.

I'm starting to wonder if he was right. But sucks for him, it includes Quebec.

I’m a retired critical care nurse and am shocked and appalled at what I’ve been seeing and hearing happening in our healthcare and politics. This is a coordinated attack on everything we as citizens have held dear. The attack on healthcare professionals in BC is not only unbelievable, but criminal. Goes against all rights previously held. Need complete dismantling of government controlled professional bodies.

The bc govt has lost its fucking mind and no one even cares. Knowing the jab protects no one else, it's jist spite combined w power hungry insanity being used to jist9fy continual persecution and discrimination against the unvaxxed. It makes me sick, and all its gonna do is create enemies of rhe "state". I'm putting my money on karma and I'm not one to pray, but I do hope our govt idiots get exactly what they deserve.

The only silver lining I see is that provinces other than BC may benefit from an influx of nurses looking for work.

Does anyone know if any nurses in BC were actually fired (as opposed to leaving of their own volition) due to the mandates? I know it seems like a silly question but a comment made on the Zoom get together yesterday has me wondering...

Thanks Sheldon for raising the visibility on BC nurses plight and the deep corruption of the BC government. Their plight become everyone's.

There is an organization in BC that is fightng relentlessly in BC Supreme Court for retribution on behalf of the nurses, and other groups who were harmed by mandates (etc.). Readers can check out CSASSP and current status of the legal actions, at their website: https://www.covidconstitutionalchallengebc.ca/status-updates

We had them once & I hope we have learned our lesson. You know socialist ideas seem good; however I have always myself the question "who is going to pay for them"? I'm so tired of watching the commercials on CHEK news regarding the stress on the nurses in BC due to staff shortages. If all healthcare workers in BC are vaccinated, then why are they so afraid of unvaccinated health care workers. What are they afraid of? If all the health care workers are protected by the vaccines, then why should they be so concerned & afraid of unvaccinated workers. Unvaccinated nurses worked tirelessly before the vaccines came along & should be reinstated immediately! Why does BC always vote in the NDP, only to be disappointed time & time again

Let's not forget Bill 36......

WOW! This is alarming! I’m sure many people don’t know about any of this. Excellent work as always Sheldon 🙌🏼 Everyone needs to share this with your union member friends.

And where exactly were those unions when their members needed them? Certainly not speaking up for the people who pad their war chests!!!!

Get out of the sick care system and don't look back.

The BC NDP are horrendous. They have over-reached their authority and have now become some quasi communist party.............do as we say or you are out!!!!!. How is this OK in Canada and with Canadians? I know that Canadians are just a bunch of goody 2 shoes who love to obey the government even if the government makes horrible rules and regulations affecting their individual freedom? Now that is too much. I think there are very very few Canadians that have a backbone and who will stand up and say "enough already".

Instead they just bend over and take it, the horrible taxes, the almost dead and buried healthcare system, awful censorship so you cannot say ANYTHING other than the government's rhetoric.

A question - are you certain that there are only 2 provinces banning unvaccinated health care workers from hospitals at this point? BC and Ontario I presume?

I think the day is soon coming or may be already starting to dawn, where they will not feel this way at all. In fact they will be looked at as heroes and the smartest folks in the room.
