We have never had good leadership or any govt thst actually endorsed or elevated our country. The govt restricts do much that our exporting is limited . We csntvecen handle our own recycling. It's shipped out of country to be burned somewhere else. Jobs could be created with something so simple as looking after ourselves. While I understand a lot of this, I see NATO as a scam. It is a mechanism to enrich the shareholders of the Arms Industry by purchasing over priced toys that don't work on the battle field. A great way to plunder the tax payers of the world, while not addressing real security issues in our communities.
What does Canadian Security look like. For starters, we need to assert our own security as a nation. So things like upgrade the Port of Churchill, and the transportation corridors across the North, and conceptualizing what security looks like in a time of drone warfare & AI. What should be obvious is that at a time when an AI drone can make its way inside of a building how we have done things in the past will not work.

Unfortunately I agree with the tariffs .why does Canada have to be subsidized to the tune of 2 billion a year? Why do we allow more immigrants when we get subsidized? Why do we allow terrorists to run a political party? Why are we not developing or using our own natural resources and impirt / export??? Why do we have municipal mayors who go against everything canadian? Why don't we ever have a half decent govt ??

No, the main reason is illegals and drugs coming in from Canada in the USA.
Secondary is the trade deficit and not enough paying for NATO.

The tariffs of Trump must be paid by US companies that import from Canada.
They will increase their prices that Americans need to pay for imported goods.
