Looking forward to this one. Rath & Co had a very novel approach. At first I thought "They're just arguing technicalities" but slowly the method to their madness came into view. It all came down to who actually made the decisions. In Alberta Kenny & his cabinet made them. Hinshaw was just a "waitress" presenting a menu. Everybody was doing the Chuck Berry tune "It wasn't me".
Court looked at cabinet minutes and it was obvious that Hinshaw didn't make the call despite the law saying she had to. EVERY restriction was ILLEGAL. It's so obvious that the current government of Alberta has declined to appeal because there are no grounds to appeal. It's that cut and dried.
Kenney, his cabinet and that skanky ho Hinshaw have lost about half the Alberta Heritage Savings Trust Fund. It'll be a $10 Billion hit before this is over.
I'm guessing that some of your readers are in British Columbia. For those, there is an adjacent class action already in progress in the BC Supreme Court, awaiting certification:

Hope you will take a look and support ($, time, publicity). Thank you.
I believe Leighton Grey is also putting in a class action. Looking forward its certification.
To paraphrase Donald J. Trump's recent comment, if I'm correct: "Fight! Fight! Fight!"
Fantastic news, this can’t come soon enough
