Agreed. The placebo in most if not all trials of any vaccine has never been saline. It could be what you stated, or the concoction minus mRNA. Everyone should read the books “Turtles All The Way Down” and “Dissolving Illusions”
I believe that ICAN sued Pfizer and forced saline for the placebo arm. They were planning on using something with the adjuvants in it. So likely what AZ did. There should be something about that on The Highwire.
