I was just by the bball courts shown here. They were perfectly clean but totally deserted, except for some city "workers" standing around. It is -14 with a wind chill to -22

In Edmonton, they're clearing the rarely used bike lanes in my neighbourhood, but no roads. Not even the bus route.

Perhaps residents need to send Gondek et al a bill for not clearing their area within 24 hours! Reminds me of Geoege Kastanza at the doctor’s office.

Don't forget we get spanked for shoveling snow into the street. It's irrelevant that the laughing snow plow guy erects a huge snow mountain in my driveway so I can't get out. Why can't I shovel it back into the street where it came from? I'm in a condo with very little real estate in front to store snow.

I remember Edmonton never clearing roads. One night I saw 5 backhoes out - all in Tim Horton’s parking lot, idle.

Natural gas usage: 49 cents

Carbon tax: $4.06 !!

GST on carbon tax: 20 cents

Total tax on 49 cents of natural gas: $4.26 !!!

Ridiculous (as is clearing basketball courts...)
