I'm beginning to think they want riots so that they can impose martial law for our safety

I've thought about that. I'm wondering if our Country was under martial law if Federal elections could be suspended. I'm trying to imagine what the breaking point in Canada would be before uncontrolled riots took place. Given the current circumstances in Canada right now; homelessness, food banks, crime, mental illness, failing medical system and a massive Federal debt to name a few, I'm wondering if it's a matter of time. Maybe it's a trap and sheeplike we will walk right into it.

add to that, tampons in mens rooms in the Canadian military, and it becomes clear that transgender vegans are in full control of Canada.

Years ago, I started occasionally saying to anyone who would listen, “The government exists for two reasons:

1) to rob you of everything

2) to kill you”

Of course, back then it sounded like the rankings of a delusional, paranoid nutcase. But gradually, over the last decade or so, more and more people agree.

What changed I wonder?

As a climate change denier, I agree wholeheartedly.

Now, if we don't get snow for a week in December, well, climate change.

If we get 3 days of snow, see, more climate change.

With CO2 at a whopping .04% of atmosphere, Canada would make zero difference, if we reached net zero...

However, we wouldn't have an economy, or food, or enough usable energy.

So, yeah, they will kill us, given the opportunity.

Don't you just love the new " climate speak" terminology we are subjected to on a daily basis? Heat Dome, Atmospheric River, Polar Vortex, to name a few. And every snowstorm or a few drops of rain are now a weather event. They're never happy. Unfortunately if you tried to enjoy the beauty of a rainbow in a sunny blue sky after a rainstorm they would find fault in that.

I'm sure I could find more examples from other cultures throughout history. But it wouldn't matter. It simply can't happen to us here and now, even as it's happening, here and now. One would think it might give some hope to know that humans have been here before. Perhaps with a little effort tragedy could be avoided. All this information at our fingertips, instantly... seems to only be used for grander rationalizations for giving up.

"A low wailing hung over the village; the little children kept up a constant, barely audible whine as they crawled about like living skeletons. The men wandered aimlessly around the yards, exhausted by hunger, barely able to breathe, their feet swollen. The women went on searching for something to eat, but everything had already gone - nettles, acorns and linden leaves, uncured sheepskins, old bones, hooves and horns that had been lying around on the ground... Meanwhile the young men from the city went from house to house, hardly glancing at the dead and the dying, searching cellars, digging holes in barns, prodding the ground with iron bars... They were searching for the grain hidden away by the kulaks. "They're an obstinate lot, these kulaks. They'd rather die than give in."

"The first half of the twentieth century may be seen as a time when - in accordance with philosophies of race and society - whole sections of the European population were exterminated. One of the most astonishing human traits that came to light at this time was obedience. There were cases of huge queues being formed by people awaiting execution - and it was the victims themselves who regulated the movement of these queues. There were hot summer days when people had to wait from early morning until late at night; some mothers prudently provided themselves with bread and bottles of water for their children. Millions of innocent people, knowing that they would soon be arrested, said goodbye to their nearest and dearest in advance and prepared little bundles containing spare underwear and a towel. Millions of people lived in vast camps that had not only been built by prisoners but were even guarded by them. And it wasn't merely tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands, but hundreds of millions of people who were the obedient witnesses."

Interesting comment. I'm a history buff and one thing that keeps me rational is knowing my life history is but a blip on the landscape of time.

I've tried to imagine living in France during the time of the guillotine and gaining a front row seat to watch. Or imagine sitting in the Roman coliseum and witnessing the atrocities that took place there. Would I have attended a witch trial during the Spanish Inquisition? I would hope not. But historically these events and many others took place. We're living in one now.

They abhor us “useless eaters”. I agree. Get out of the cities. Go somewhere you can grow at least some of your own food. The war is being waged against us by our own government.
