hey. i agree with you. but it’s not just 20% of Canada’s population that has had our fundamental rights trampled. it’s nearly 100% of us.

jabbed are included in that. informed consent is impossible when nothing is known about the experimental intervention (and when the harm is being suppressed from public view). that’s everyone’s right.

as angry as i am at the ugly backwards scripted ideologies they’ve spouted. (‘unvaccinated people should quit clogging up the ICUs and just stay home and die’ was said to me by a neighbour at a time that our local hospital had 4 covid patients. 2 in ICU... the ignorance is unforgivable) those assholes’ rights are included in the freedom we’re standing for.

Sadly.

If we want equality...we have to fight for true equality. Reluctant as I am, I do appreciate your point, Gabby.

Canada is a captured Crime State, inhabited by narcissistic cowards & foreigners of convenience - looking at you Jagmeet, Alghabra, etc. - receiving the governance that most of these people deserve. This population & the resultant situation are vastly different from that of even 20 years ago. Nearly all of us know this & have been cowed to not say it aloud.

The suffering will increase, eventually ending the mass denial & complacency, to provoke a meaningful reaction, if history is our guide. I believe that it will be.

Anyone who at this point has a blue checkmark is a member of the 'woke' mob and should be 'twitter-taxed' 2500 dollars for it. Tit for tat, paypadl.

About Stephen King, I used to love his books before he became a sanctimonious asshole.

Now...screw him. Not worth my time or money.

Have you seen 22 Minutes, lately?

Parliament is more comical...and we're paying more to sponsor that then we are for the HOC.

338 MP's in Canada, average Salary is $189,500 - Total=$64,051,000 - 64 Million.

Liberals are paying $1.5 Billion dollars to support legacy/mainstream media, of which funds 22 minutes.

AKA...we are paying 22 Mins to parody Canadian living and politics...more than we are paying our politicians...and parliament is more comical.

Theatre, I think. CUPE's ask - 12% a year for four years - is ridiculous. Ford's direct-to-NWC is just as ridiculous. All theatre. If I were the betting type... after the curtain closes, the Charter will be dumpstered.

Doubtful...NDP Platform is based on Teachers and the Education System - being remade in their views...The coalition will support 1% of Ontarians to show Canada that they care about the children...and don't give a single shit about money, because Doug Ford is a chintzey conservative who doesn't care about children wants them all dead.

Ford will buckle.

Teacher will get their way.

They've been doing it for 3 years and they are the political and news media pawn of the Libs.

If you're referring to the current pending strike, it's not teachers. It's support staff

Personally, I don't give a rat's ass if someone has a blue check mark on Twitter or not. If it means that much to someone, then I guess they will need to pay for it.

Canadian governments are all corrupt & useless. Every time Trudeau stands up in the HoC, he smirks. We all know damn well he stayed in the $6000 room which by the way cost us $7300 with the exchange. I can't for the life of me figure out how the peasants paying carbon taxes does a damn thing for the environment. As for the Charter, dipshit decimated that months ago & now he wants to pull it out of his ass & tell us it means something.

I worked in both the healthcare system & the education system over my 40+ year career. I am sick & tired of teachers & support staff whining about their wages & workload. They used to make the equivalent of healthcare workers & now they make far more. Meanwhile they work days Mon - Fri with weekends off, Stats off, summers off while healthcare workers work shift work, weekends & stat holidays & the workloads don't even come close to comparison.

People need to finally wake up to the fact that politicians actually loathe the very people they are supposed to be representing. They want nothing to do with us. We are only useful to them when it comes time to retain their jobs through election. Try contacting them. They regard us with disdain.

Hi Sheldon, love your dedication and stats brain. The CUPE union doesn't represent teachers. It represents everyone in schools except teachers/principals. E.g., Educational Assistants (who are paid at the rate of 22.00 plus per hour, for the pleasure of being kicked and spat at in some cases). In other cases, they change diapers, feeding tubes and ensure the safety of students with special needs. They also keep the wheels of learning turning (if the teacher is chasing a student around the room who is hitting other children, they are not teaching). Early Childhood educators are also essential to Kindergarten classes, who can now have well over 30 students (some starting in September are three years old). EAs and ECEs have college diplomas, and in some cases, teaching degrees. Secretaries are also integral to the school functioning (sit with sick kids while they wait for mom, dad or grandparents to pick them up), as are custodial staff. While I DO think the union is asking for too much at this time, I wanted to correct the notion that this is about the classroom teachers. It is not.
