Can you find me a YouTube Link for the version of the 1812 overture that you prefer?
There's a few out there and the issue with older finds - the quality doesn't allow for a true analysis for the binaural beat.
Personal App - Frequency & Binaural Beat Analyzer.
Just the beginning of the app I'm working on. Finally got this working on Sunday and have been playing around with this and a Binaural Beat Moodifier that I've also made. There might be others available on apple or google play.
The intention is to get these into web based versions for others to play around with.
I've used the binaural beat generators that were online but with limited results. I've always wondered if they actually did the sounds correct. Great idea to use an analyzer.
If there are others interested, I'll continue on with trying to produce the app for public use. There's a cost factor to it and to hosting, and with having paid subs shut down, makes it kind of difficult to go through all of this.
Working to have the app as an all-in-one, that will do the frequency analytics and then also have a generator that is both customizable for binaural beats and with presets.
I've got both apps created(ish), but want to do this as more web based due to limitations by YouTube. Shooting for simplicity...
Couple of other things I'm working on, but will get the basics done before taking next steps.
Wow thank you so much I didn’t realise you could check the range!
And with everything on your plate I’m really touched you’re offering to help - I’d say he likes almost anything but probably more either something like old school Mike Oldfield /tubular bells or the modern take like electric dance music (say Armin van Buuren as an example) or “easy classical” - sorry open minded here :)
I'm currently remixing the Superman with my binaural selection...will post it once it's finished - but make no guarantees that it will work the same for everyone.
That...and because of the analytical hound that I am, wouldn't be opposed to trying with other selections specific to other people.
So where are you in curing your tinnitus. I don't know if you have heard about this incredible plasma machine (Tesla technology, Nikola Tesla, not the car company) - guy used it one time and cure his tinnitus apparently. I plan to buy on but it is pricey
I really don't believe that there are truly defined reasons for Tinnitus, above theory and speculation...why would I profess to being an expert on what may cause the solution.
Everything I'm working on - while does have scientific backing with studies - is, as far as I'm concerned - Theoretical.
I had Tinnitus for years - I got mine from working on large Hyster forklifts at a brick works years ago, we were not allowed to wear anything to suppress the diesel engine noise, so if we potentially ran over someone (it happened occasionally) we might hear them scream, as they went under the fork lift.
The fork lift had a ground clearance of about 6 inches - I used to drive a fork which unloaded "bungs" of bricks as they came out from the kilns where they were cooked from raw to solid made and I would take these bungs of bricks and put them in packers packing sheds at a 25% angle, so we could put lines of these bungs, for individual packers to pack and strap into packs which were put out in the yard, to be loaded at some time in the future, on the delivery trucks with different forks on them, of course.
I used to drive one of the forks which did that too, but I won't bore you with the details, unless anyone is interested, just ask.
The noise of the engines was intense and I got my Tinnitus from that - a constant banging, bubbling, cracking noise which never went away and when I stand near a noisy bus engine, it flares up again - but the best way to deal with it is accept it as your friend, mentally and that makes it easier to deal with.
Stop doing whatever work caused the Tinnitus in the first place, obviously, even if that means a lifetime change.
I live in total silence now and my Tinnitus settled down and eventually went away, it's been years since I last had it and to be honest, I enjoy the quiet.
my hearing damage from growing up around farm machinery - now chronic tinnitus. And accompanying hearing loss of course. Hearing aids are a godsend. And without proper hearing aids the risk is that you forget what certain sounds mean. And that looks like dementia apparently.
Hi Kevin - Farm machinery would be like the brick works fork lifts which caused my hearing problems. I am not totally deaf, it is the lower range of hearing which I don't hear apparently, but I can easily hold a conversation when I am next to someone and they are talking to me and not the wall behind them.
I think the medical fraternity would use any excuse to get us onboard and feed us their medical shit, to which I refuse to subscribe, which is why I'm still here - the vaccines, had I had any, would have done for me, for sure.
Personally, I think Dementia and various other "diseases of the old" is caused by your genetic makeup and you get whatever happens that way - not from how you live your life, or how affected you are by hearing loss.
I replayed a series of TV programs "New Tricks" last night, which I had not watched for at least 25 years and I could remember "who done it" and predict that, before the program ended, which was not a bad achievement in my opinion and I'm late 70's and still the full bottle and still mathematically competent (I learned the 12 times tables as a kid) and I refuse to use AI at all, although it is great for correcting spelling errors, since I don't touch type, but look at the keys I press on my keyboard and always have.
Experts are generally younger people who have their skills learned from a book which they repeat parrot fashion - I was trained to be a teacher at one stage of my earlier life, but it was not the career choice I wanted and eventually I moved away from it, but the learning module stays with me and how the system works - one size fits all sort of thinking.
If you are not easily confused and your thinking skills remain pretty much as they always were, whether you use hearing aids or not, then I'd say you are as normal as me - I'd use hearing aids if I felt they benefited me, but the nature of my hearing loss is such that by amplifying sound, I get my Tinnitus back and then some, which is simply not worth it for me.
I don't have any teeth either - I had the last remaining few out about 12 years ago and now I don't wear any either - but that has not stopped me enjoying my life and making the most of it in my retirement..........
yes a few hours on or around some extra loud machinery and my ears would "ring" for hours after. My hearing loss is in the higher frequencies and yes I can converse with men one on one provided there's no background noise. Beyond that and it gets tiring, frustrating or just dysfunctional.
The connection to dementia is that the auditory nerve goes to the same area in the brain as "memory" and the idea is that if you can't hear properly then your brain forgets what that sound means. Or so I'm told by my audiologist. I saw it (I believe) with my then 90 yo dad who after I'd repeat something 3x and getting louder each time & he'd have a puzzled look on his face - he'd protest you don't need to yell. I believe that's what was happening - he could hear me but it was just nonsensical noise to him.
My hearing aids are a godsend. It allows me to do phone work with clients at 71 yo.
Added to the above - I can hear relatively well, but I can't wear hearing aids because they amplify sound which makes my Tinnitus flare up again and it is absolutely horrible sitting in a car and driving along, the engine "noise" is off the scale, with hearing aids in, but no problem with them out - so I won't wear any.
I have some problem listening to and speaking on a mobile phone, it is almost as if the digital sound that they emit as voices, is scrambled in some way, so I don't use a mobile for anything much - I have a friend who acts as my secretary and they do the mobile phone bit for me.
Most people mumble when they talk, like they don't want to talk loudly, I tell people I am deaf and to speak up, which they do for a minute or so before they lapse back to talking quietly again, so I wave at my ears and they speak up again, but it's not good for long conversations, not that anyone has much to talk about these days, so win/win.
I could if I had to, but I prefer not to - I am obviously happy with email and stuff like this, but it is really surprising how everyone is conditioned to use a mobile and they won't text like this, unless they absolutely have to.
There's a reason everyone has tinnitus now. Turn your Wi-Fi off at least at night and keep your pone away from your body. If you have to use it for calls use headset (not earbuds - which have very high EMF levels themselves). Better yet keep It in full Airplane mode and plug your computer in w an Ethernet cord like we did in the 90’s. EMFs (Wi-Fi and phone signals) are microwaves and if you saw their levels w a proper meter you would be astounded. They cook ur brain just like a microwave oven (similar levels) and are the main cause of tinnitus.
Knights in white satin by the Moody Blues closely followed by Tchaikovsky's 1812 overture.
Interesting article.
Well done

me too.
Very interesting (and my other half suffers with vaxx induced tinnitus). Thanks for sharing
If you/he aren't sure of the frequency range of his tinnitus, you can use this website:
https://audionotch.com/app/tune/
What type of music does he like?
With this information, I might be able to come up with a customized blend that can help him seek some relief - if he's interested.
Wow thank you so much I didn’t realise you could check the range!

Superman will be very interesting to listen too in your various takes.
Here is an example of Tubular Bells:

I'm actually not under the illusion I can "cure" anything nor will I make such promises.
For myself personally, my studies on frequencies had the unintended benefit of silencing my tinnitus for spans of time and that's more than welcomed.
I'm doing this for completely separate benefits - focus, learning and relaxation. Having a momentary reprieve is just a perk.
So specifically what do you postulate was the reason for the silencing of your tinnitus? Thanks.
I'm not even doing that.
