Especially given Alberta independence is on the line in 2026, a unified source/ voice is more important this year than ever before! Bravo! Let me know if I can help!
I love your perspectives and all things you chose to share and write about. I would be happy with just continuing as you are. I already follow a lot of other content creators on YouTube, substack, telegram, FB, X, Rumble, so I think I am pretty well informed. So not sure you need to bust your “ass” to try and do what you are suggesting. But that’s my opinion and you have my support no matter what! Happy New Year Sheldon! 🥳🎉
Since Substack has started following censor rules, a few others have started looking into this. I am on neither of the other social media and hate linkedin. I think to have a free speech it might be necessary to go this way.
Check out Big Media, they are trying to do this based here in Alberta and are always looking for food writers. I've met the owner a couple times now, good guy from what I can tell.
I know it sounds great, and it's long overdue but I can share with you how many different reasons why it fails every time, because I've tried more times than I can count.
Please do chat Boys! I understand there are differences with personalities and viewpoints, but seems to me at this critical time in history, there should be a common space where those now awakening can get many viewpoints to consider just how messed up things are. I will do my best to support all independent voices, but strongly agree a common staring place is essential. I may not agree with everyone on all subjects, but together, all voices are making a difference…even if, painfully slow.
I love the idea, but I would be concerned that it would soon become like X or FaceBook where there are a few people put there strictly for sowing dissent. You see them all the time spewing negative points of view that quickly manifest into name calling and virtue signalling. I don't know if they're bots or just NDP/Liberal plants. I enjoy differences of opinion and dialog, but I don't like the angry finger pointing that has become so prevalent since Covid. Suddenly differences of opinion are treated like turds in a punch bowl.

If anyone can make that happen it’s you Sheldon. I have my own Substack but always read what you post and contribute to the conversation
I like your idea Sheldon. I believe we can be more effective working together. Stay in touch my friend.

I think it’s a great idea.
You could probably buy Global cheap.
I'd be down with that...unity is more important than ever.
