My friend with an autoimmune disease was wise enough not to take the jab (despite heavy pressure of course). When she inevitably came down with Covid, she was given Paxlovid. Her symptoms lessened within 48 hours and we thought she was over the worst of it. About a week later, the symptoms came roaring back, worse than ever. Great analysis! As a fit and healthy 60 years old c19 survivor (spouse of a frontline worker) (dec. 2019) and unvaccinated expat, I knew this was bs. It was 10 days 4 me at home. It was a strong flu. The liberals with their inept mandates need to focus on the elephant (and no the monkey) "pox": obesity, sugar addiction, alcohol consumption, all incontrovertibly linked to worst outcomes or co-morbidities. Any regulations? Any mandates? These would be better and more logical. Given the news that c19 was man-made or caused, locking down gain of function facilities should have happened. But not for them! Keep up the great work! (Btw, I am strongly dissuaded to visit my 86 y. o. mother in Canada as a unvaxxed. I could be quarantined. How many cycles do they use on Pcr tests? Transparency? My ass! Isn't there a lag between deaths and hospitalization? Wouldn't that account for higher deaths than hospitalizations as some of those deaths could have been from a prior reporting period hospitalization?

The reason more people are dying than making it into the ICU (or even the hospital) is because nursing homes etc are not considered intensive care. This is a trick we made note of last year where there were a lot more vaccinated individuals seriously ill with COVID than they were letting on.

Isn't there a lag between deaths and hospitalization? Wouldn't that account for higher deaths than hospitalizations as some of those deaths could have been from a prior reporting period hospitalization?
