I thought the rationale they are claiming is that because babies and young children have more mild or even unnoticeable cases that don't harm them, they are notorious superspreaders to ones that may have fewer cases but more likely to get a severe case, and die. So jabbing and boosting the babies to fight the long-gone Wuhan strain will somehow stop the huge increase in jabbed adult cases of non-Wuhan variants that fart in the general direction, Monty Python style, of Wuhan-strain jab-induced antibodies. The jabs that didn't give adults 'herd immunity' last year will somehow give babies 'herd immunity' this year, and stop the spread (of more infectious variants with different spike proteins) and thus reduce deaths.
