Israel: Myocarditis Risk Update.
On June 30th, 2021, Health Canada updated Pfizer and Moderna Vaccine Labels to include Myocarditis and Pericarditis.
"Health Canada has updated the product monographs (labels) for the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to describe very rare reports of myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart) following vaccination.
Cases of myocarditis and/or pericarditis following immunization with COVID-19 vaccines have been reported in a small number of people in Canada and internationally.
This is old news, so why bring it up?
Well, it’s like this…
Over the last couple weeks we have seen Nordic Countries and France restricting the use of the Moderna Vaccine because of issues with Myocarditis in select demographics, Iceland completely banning the use of it.
Seems like this might be something that Health Canada would want to investigate, specific to Moderna, given how a warning was issued based on what we’ve seen “in Canada and internationally”, but it’s not.
Reason being?
Dr. Deena Hinshaw opens a little insight into why and it’s because she knows that Pfizer has caused more cases of Myocarditis than Moderna. 24 “Reported Cases” of myocarditis in Alberta, 7 with Moderna - 17 with Pfizer.
By this logic alone, we’d want to use the vaccine that can kill less people, so it makes sense, I guess.
However, the very day before the CMOH took to twitter, an update from Israel came out stating that:
Health Ministry to consider asking newly vaccinated to avoid working out
The Health Ministry may ask newly vaccinated people to avoid exercise for a week due to a small number of myocarditis cases.
Israel, the fastest to roll-out vaccines and the only country currently mandating a 3rd Dose, within 6 months to be followed by a 4th Dose, has made some observations that might be relevant.
“We recommend that everyone, in particular adolescents and young men aged under 30 avoid strenuous activity, such as intense exercise, for one week after the first and second doses,” the slide deck said.
Said another way:
Everyone who has had a first or second dose is at risk.
OR
Everyone who has been VACCINATED IS AT RISK!
Where is Canada on this?
Back on June 11th, 2021, prior to the update by Health Canada:
They started watching for an increase in myocarditis cases when the fully vaccinated population of Canada was around 10%.
‘Watching’ was the key word, apparently.
If we were actively testing for it, in the same way we tested for COVID in asymptomatic people, would we have found more?
I believe we would. Check out the Public Health Ontario report:
438 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis after receipt of mRNA vaccine (see Myocarditis/pericarditis section for more information)
As of October 10, 2021, there have been 438 reports of myocarditis or pericarditis following receipt of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines in Ontario. These reports have been identified through case-level review of all reported AEFIs. Of these, 122 (27.9%) were diagnosed with myocarditis and 197 (45.0%) were diagnosed with pericarditis.
Ontario Population: 14,826,276 - myocarditis: 122.
Alberta Population: 4,442,879 - myocarditis according to Hinshaw: 27
Ontario with 3.33x the population has 4.5x the amount of myocarditis cases and nobody is wondering why?
What is scary about this is the fact that Canadians aren’t being given the full skinny on the risks of myocarditis and we’re not even really looking for it yet.
In Canada, up to October 1st, 2021 - there were 859 reported cases of myocarditis, 25 cardiac arrests, 28 cardiac failures and 73 heart attacks following vaccinations.
This may not seem like a lot, spread across the population of an entire country, but…
In August, when I substacked on myocarditis, from December 15th, 2020 - vaccine roll-out to August 13th, 2021, there were 485 Cases:
A month and a half later, this number has almost doubled.
Should we be getting more warnings on this?
Should we maybe start testing for myocarditis?
Each week, more and more of my content continues to be removed from other platforms. As I am sure we’ve all seen, it may not be long before I will either be suspended or permanently removed from some of these places. If you are interested in continuing to sift through my COVID contributions, subscribing would probably be a good thing to do.
