Value vs Perceived Value has always been a thing…and while I don’t doubt there is a lot of value to NOT having NDP and their booze hound leader - Rachel - Make it a Double - Notley in control of the province…and while:
This doesn’t mean she can lose the online momentum.
We’ve just blinked away 3 years under lockdowns…and soon it will be time for a Provincial Election…and if Danielle Smith doesn’t up her online game…we’re all fucked!
And, I don’t just mean Albertans…
The country is in a very pivotal place and with Alberta, under Danielle Smith, moving towards the light of having a Sovereign Province…she’s still only capturing a portion of the provincial support on a separatist type idea and in this…not turning any new votes…and where her focus was on righting the wrongs inside of this pandemic - with hopes of her addressing the failures of the COVID response by the country from masks through vaccinations…she’s kinda dropping the ball.
Rach is capitalizing on this by simple uncertainty and by calling out the issues with Provincial Health Care…ones that she actually helped create when she was premier and supported throughout the last 3 years…where she now claims that they are the victims here, not the creators of the mess we’ll all be facing.
Notley and her leadership team have placed the majority of big ballers and shot callers for the AHS when she was the premier and these people have squandered away billions of dollars over the last 3 years…without ever addressing issues inside of our provincial healthcare system and all while watching 5,000 Albertans die from COVID.
This all happened under the inattentive eye and knee-jerk reactions from Jason Kenney.
His performance can’t be rated by success…but more so on a Richter Scale…and not for magnitudes of prosper…more so on colossal and destructive failures!
I could write a book on the failures of provincial leadership from the beginning of the Notley years through to the end of Kenney…but instead, I’ve elected to focus on what really ought to be addressed by the Smith Social-Comms team.
Right now…due to a lot of different things, we are facing some critical shortages in healthcare…Notley is 100% correct about this…
Hospitals and Childrens hospitals are getting hit harder than Rachel Notley’s liver on a Friday Night.
But…what needs to be addressed in this is that Notley is working to regain voters who’ve lost confidence in the NDP over vaccinations…I’ll show you how.
On August 2nd, 2022…something that Notley has pushed for, for the last year and a half prior and still supports today…is Vaccinations. On this day, Vaccinations were approved and accepting bookings for children under the age of 5:
Because of the laydown support that the dippers and libs got on Vaccinations since their inception in Canada was a seemingly a majority. Jabs were given under coercion, never fully had an informed consent and never changed the trajectory of the pandemic with exception of probably making things a lot worse (another conversation for another day).
The Media has wildly continued on the same path and the last federal election was based on who was going to have the craziest Anti-Vaxxer Punishment system…because people believed this would save lives.
However…after a year of this same drum-beat and by the time that there was an “approved” vaccination for under 5’ers…the majority became the SUPER minority.
Check it:
Over the last 3 months, there has been only 3,594 children under the age of 5 to have been vaccinated, working out to be 1.5% of the parent’s of these children actually believing that the vaccines are “safe and effective”.
Following this…on August 29th, 2022:
And up to Current “Boosters” for the 5-11 population, there are only 2.7% of this age group:
And less than another 1% of parent’s who made the move to “Fully Vaccinated” from the 1 dose, which is the loss of 50,000 children who never passed dose 1 - and that’s A LOT.
Albertans, like the majority of Canada is NOT interested in anymore of this shit.
But sadly…ZERO politicians in Canada are even focused on this.
Sure…there are some high prices on gas and groceries and we just got over Halloween and are heading into Christmas so the focus is on affordable living in Canada…but we’re also all headed into the same shitstorm of weakened immunity in the majority of the population during Respiratory Virus Season and because of a Global Shortage on children’s cold and flu meds…there’s a lot of parents hitting the Childrens Hospital’s and finding a 13 hour wait times and 6 hours in others:
And, if you are a parent or grandparent…even with a child with a fever over 100 C, you will struggle getting a doctors appointment and will be forced into this madness.
And while Premier Smith may be addressing this very issue…she’s doing a terrible job at communicating it to the general public.
Rach has throttled back on vaccines, that nobody gives a shit about, but is going to either create and environment of rage in people needing hospital care, will swing voters over to her lunacy…or a combination of both.
None of which can be improved upon by Notley’s general support of the Unions that created this mess to begin with…all of which will be worsened if she’s afforded the chance to push for MORE UNIONS in the province, through her “right to bargain collectively”, rhetoric:
With “Dignity and Respect”, of course…unlike the hundreds of current union employees who work(ed) for Alberta Health Services who were sandbagged because they didn’t get their jabs.
There was no “dignity and respect”…there was no “collective bargaining”, and even worse, Rach was Head Cheerleader for wanting to fire the unvaccinated Health Care Workers…instead of, ya know…maybe asking them why they didn’t want to be jabbed in the first place…
So…while Rach figured out that nobody wanted her advice on vaccines…those who are listening will grow larger in the wake of the bed shortages in hospitals for children…and of course how much she cares about ‘frontline workers’, now…when a few short months ago, she’d have had them dragged into the streets and jabbed in open public for all to see.
We all know that Rach hit’s the bottle too hard before she tweets.
We all know that she’s also, batshit crazy.
But if Danielle doesn’t start addressing these issues publicly…her perceived value will be zero…and right now…coming into a provincial election…this is all that matters.
Her Head of Comms shouldn’t be addressing the Twitter Souse…but should be starting to shed some light on how she is addressing this.
Just my 2 cents.
Each social post by Notley (spit) is basically PLOWED in comments, and comments on comments, by antivaxxers... Danielle Smith is a truthing PR genius and is winning despite Notley's whining...
But I am 100% with you that Danielle needs all help we can give her! She is a hero.
Yup, there are serious messaging issues going on. Partly the media is to blame for using its red laser to misdirect our low attention span population. But Smith needs to up her game dramatically. All I hear from fellow Trudeau haters is how much they dislike her.
I know part of that dislike stems from many not wanting to accept that yes indeed, the Unvaccinated were discriminated against like no other in recent memory. That’s because they see themselves as virtuous people when in reality they were easily manipulated by fear and propaganda and were downright complicit in that discrimination. I’m not sure there is a way to overcome that easily. I’m for amnesty for regular folks, but not those who manipulated them.
And the nurses I talk to are retiring or retraining as fast as they can because they don’t want to go down with the ship. And ones fired for making their own health decisions are not keen on returning yet. Not unless some absolutely monumental changes are made and that’s a project looking long past the next election date. So where do we get the skilled people needed to build a new ship? One that actually works? A $500 public healthcare spending account is useless if there is no place to spend it.
It feels like some truly evil fucks gamed out these scenarios to guarantee there is only failure ahead. I’m not usually a black pilled person but that’s only because health care isn’t my area of expertise. We need something dramatic, a totally new paradigm or a totally old one (decentralized private mobile medical units?). Smith needs a team to brainstorm and get moving or she (and we) are doomed.
