A lot of you have been amazing with not only ordering some of the YakkStack items from my Merch site, but have also been giving some donations towards a food hamper with your orders…a lot just sending some funds just for the vets.
And given the #JustInflation situation we’re going to be going through this year…I’ve decided to go the extra mile.
(ps…if you wanted to give more then $5, increase the quantity by hitting the + sign until your “Add to Cart Value” reflects the donation you’d like to give)
Now…a portion of all of the proceeds from the T-Shirt and Flask purchases will go towards a Cash Donation to the the Calgary Veterans. Whether I make the mark with support or not, the minimum of my donation will be $500.
And while I fully support the cash value and was prepared to do this anyways…with your current support, it’s helped out tremendously.
But I want to make this as big and as impactful as I can…so…here’s what I’m going do.
I’m going to match all of the donations, up until November 10th, 2022 and add it to the hamper that we give to the Calgary Veterans, from our YakkStack community - up to the first $200.
And…because I’m going to be heading out to another public meet, with Marty Belanger and Alberta Leonidis, next Sunday, November 6th…
If you were planning to attend and have items to donate on a pantry clean out (please check the dates of your items and make sure they are still safe by best before dates), I will include these items and match it $1/item - up to my $200 Max + $500 Cash donation.
Hey…I know.
Times are a lot lean right now…I get that.
That’s the biggest reason for my efforts and donations this year to the vets…
And while you may have your own bills and lifestyle to consider…don’t feel obligated to give what you cannot afford to, I appreciate your support you’re already giving by just being a part of the community.
One thing you need to remember…whether you can or cannot give…you’re already a part of this great effort.
And for that, I thank you.
Got my AMAZING merch in time for the boys weekend and love my EXEMPTION card!!!😂 soldier on!
Thank you for all that you do Sheldon.
I'm sure the Vets will be very thankful that people are still looking out for them, even though their government couldn't give a shit.
