A single family home was recently torn down in my community. It was a corner lot. A four plex went up, all with fully legal basement suites. A four car garage was placed along the back alley. The 2 outside units sold for OVER $700,000.00. The two inside units sold for slightly less. There is hardly room for a shrub, let alone any small garden or tree. 8 units, 4 parking stalls. Expensive and squeezed in like it was downtown Toronto.
So here in Deadmonton they just passed that 'conspiracy theory' of 15 minute cities plan and called it 15 minute district.
Sure sure they asked for feedback. Purely for optics. They have zero plans to take feedback as part of the ACTUAL process. Horses mouth.
Councillors barely know squat.
City administrators answer to foreign NGOs.
And push the UN/WEF agendas with reckless abandon.
These city administrations are crap on the bottom of our shoes. The ones that aren't are silenced and outnumbered.
