I am so saddened to hear the news re Angels Cafe and Cathy. ANGELS has been a favorite "go to" for so many, myself included. I will definitely be sending emails to city hall recommending a review of plans in order to save Angels...it is an icon in Calgary.

I remember the banana on the wall. A broken toilet 'installation'. Even the terrible ML King statue. If you can call it that. Islands wrapped in paper. Buildings wrapped in ham! I wonder who sees any art in that.
Such a pity, Canada seems to be even harder on its small businesses than the US. Govt forgets who built our countries. It was not the Walmart, but the small businesses that are now almost forced out of business. I hope you can support them to go on.
