Alberta Judge Rules - Rights of 5 Children Supersede the Rights of 800k+ Other Students.
Seriously.
Stumbling through the most recent insanity, I tripped across a CBC story on a judge who believed it was ‘Unreasonable’ to lift mask mandates because politicians made the decision and not Hinshaw?
Yeah…
‘Unreasonable’!!!!
What was actually ‘Unreasonable’, was closing down schools, playgrounds and sports for kids and then forcing them into experimental jabs and masks…in the first place. Now, I may come out seeming a little bias on this…but I can actually defend my position and unequivocally state that the judge is either uniformed or a complete MORON!
You see…
This goes back to Valentines day, 2022…coincidentally the same day that Trudeau called the troops out on Truckers using the ‘War Measures Act’…that the province of Alberta, seemingly through ‘Political reasons’ over ‘the word of Dr. Deena (hates math) HeeHaw’, removed the mask mandates for school aged children.

Back to today’s lunacy…
The families of 5 immunocompromised children…as well as the AFL, took the province to court and WON…meaning that the rights of 5 immunocompromised children superseded the rights of the other 800,000+ school children, in the province, because it was “unreasonable”.
How do I know there was 800,000?
Welp…I looked at the Alberta Provincial COVID dashboard and read it…
Check it:
As of February 14th, 2022…there was 810,648 Children in population of School Aged Children in the Province of Alberta. The case was centralized around 5 children, who were immunocompromised…and the judge said that it was ‘Unreasonable’ to remove mask mandates?

Take a second look at this chart…
By February 14th, 2022…when these mask mandates ended, 52% of this population had been ‘fully’ vaccinated, 86.9% of those from 12-19.
And since the vaccines had rolled out in Alberta…Hinshaw has spouted the same words - “Getting the Vaccine is the Safest Way to Protect You and Your Family”. Meaning, that if you believed Deena, you’d have had your child vaccinated and Masks really aren’t that important…because you’re already PROTECTED.
Right?
So…again…810k children in school age…52% of them ‘fully’ vaccinated, 86.9% of those over the age of 12 fully vaccinated…and it’s ‘unreasonable’ to lift mask mandates?
Now…the first major problem here is that they can either claim that the Vaccines Saved Lives or that the Vaccines Didn’t Save Lives and we still need Masks.
It’s not an either:or…so, they should have had to pick one.
The second major problem with this is…whatever lawyer was arguing against the lives of 5 children and the AFL, must not have been able to find the provincial statistics.
And…the reason I say this is…
As of February 14th, 2022 there were a sum total of 4 children in this age group that had died - with/from - COVID.
Since then…there have been an additional ZERO additional deaths in this age group - to-date:
While 1,235 additional Albertans did die…none of them were school aged!
NONE.
Now…this may seem like hindsight…but consider that COVID hit the Province of Alberta in March of 2020…and up to February 2022, there were only 4 deaths. Almost 2 full years of Pandemic and only 4 deaths, in this age.
But more importantly…the first death in this age was reported on October 7th, 2021 - Alberta’s youngest death from COVID - by Deena Hinshaw…when the child actually died from Terminal Brain Cancer:
Which preceded jabs in this age group by about a month and a half - November 24th, 2021 - Alberta rolled out the jabs for children under 19.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaand…as of November 19th, 2021…the sum totals of deaths in School Aged Children?
ONE!
Who happened to be the same 14 year old child that didn’t die from COVID - but died from BRAIN CANCER after testing positive for COVID - was the only school aged child to die from COVID.
March 2020-November 2021: 20 Months…1 Death.
November 2021-February 2022: 3 Months…3 More Deaths.
Mar, 2020 - Nov, 2022 - COVID Variants - Alpha, Gamma, Delta Variants - less transmissible, more virulent.
Nov, 2022 - Current - Covid Variants - Delta - Omicron - more transmissible, less virulent.
3 More deaths from weaker variants…or was it like the first death reported - With COVID but Terminal Brain Cancer?
These could have been deaths, tested positive for COVID, following drowning, falling down the stairs, being run-over in their driveways or Lightening Strikes…we don’t know.
But even if we did…do the rights of these 3 unknown deaths, supersede the rights of 810K others? Even if we add in the additional 5 immunocompromised from the lawsuit?
NO.
We can’t ever accept this as a metric.
And for the first major reason being…if your mask works, why do I need to wear one?

8 children, while valuable lives - and I’d never want to walk a mile in these parents shoes - are not worth the sacrifice of civil liberties afforded to all Canadians by the Charter of Rights and Freedoms…and certainly not of the other 810k children in the province!
Because if we accept this as a standard, we’d also be doing the same for every asthmatic child who cannot compete in sports as a reason to shut down every child sport…
Into, closing down public swimming because some children are more susceptible to Planters Warts…
Into there is a certain percentage of the population (fractions of percents) who suffer from Solar Urticaria…as in, being allergic to the sun.
Should we all stay inside…and avoid the sun…forever?
NO!
This is complete fucking insanity.
The applicants' legal team argued the children at the centre of this court case suffered segregation, alienation and bullying as a result of having to stay home from school or, in other cases, because they were the only ones at their schools who wore masks.
This is the most offensive part of the piece, right here.
Because…there were 5 children, whose parents believed their child’s rights were restricted, turned out to be the center of the court case.
By February 14th, 2022…48% of this age group was being segregated by not having been vaccinated…
5 children in this case compared to 384,221 other children who were actually discriminated against because they weren’t vaccinated…
No Sports…no camps…no affordable tutoring…
It is tragic that 3 children had lost their lives during this time…it always will be, but these aren’t actually confirmed deaths specifically FROM COVID and after close to 3 years of Pandemic, a sum total of 4 school aged children have died.
We cannot shut down the lives of the vastest of vast majorities of children, by ways of trampling on their rights, to protect the rights of children who can opt into “the best way of keeping you and your family safe” Jabs and “if your mask works, why do I need to wear one”.
Bet ya dollars to donuts those same parents shot those 5 immunocompromised kids to the max with clot shots which will kill them far faster than any lack of masks.
There's a famous Russian novel, where in it, everyone is entirely limited to the lowest member of society. So everyone must wear ear muffs that we can only hear as well as the most deaf person and everyone must wear glasses that dim our vision to the worst-sighted person, etc. The idea being you cannot make everyone equal; as you can never make a moron into a genius...but what if you could make a genius into a moron so you have two equal morons. Its sort of ridiculing the idea of equal outcomes by doing the extreme-opposite of meritocracy in a novel.
When I hear about "5 immuno compromised children's parents" (who probably go to different schools) want every other child, in every school (including school's their children do not go to) to wear masks for their child's benefit, I can't help but be reminded of this Russian novel.
