I’ve already stated my position on both taking pharmaceuticals and supplementation…in that both can and should be replaced by well a well-balanced nutritional path.
I’m not going to say “diet”, because in more cases than not, diet implies that you are punishing yourself and consequently using “Treat Days”, as rewards…and this simple idea lends itself to the idea of WHY all diets fail.
I’m not going to play doctor nor nutritionist here…
Not going to talk to you about ‘Life Hacks’…
Not going to encourage you order products that you can’t afford that may actually show NO Benefit…
What I am going to do is allow a sneak peak into a little research that I’ve been diving into…and going to do my best to help you get it.

This is what you will find as both Fascinating and Disgusting, at the same time…and I’ll break it out for ya.
First off…what is Tryptophan.
Tryptophan is an Amino Acid found in many foods, that you’ve probably heard about as the reason that you are so tired after eating Turkey and while it’s a precursor for Melatonin (sleepy time supplement), the most likely cause of drowsiness from your feast of bird is likely due to excess carbohydrate consumption…
Tryptophan is actually a very interesting and important Amino Acid, as you read from above…with it, you have more serotonin…depleting it, you have less. I’m going to be doing a lot more on tryptophan, but for the sake of this post, I’m going to leave off here.
Next, what is Serotonin:
Serotonin is our Happy Hormone.
When we are sufficiently provided this hormone, through diet and nutrition, we are happier. Pretty simple.
Now…from the above, again…
What you may realize is that if you drink a High Protein Meal Replacement Supplement, that doesn’t contain Tryptophan, is that your levels of serotonin are reduced.
As it states, within 5-6 hours of drinking down a tasty and chocolaty, high protein milkshake, (that doesn’t contain tryptophan), you are reducing tryptophan, consequently reducing your Happy Hormone, consequently reducing your happiness.
Now…what I want you to realize is WHO these tasty chocolaty beverages are made for…
The Elderly.
People who won’t cook themselves a steak, may not have the teeth to eat it, even if they did.
And then I want you to think about the Canadian MAiD program…Medical Assistance in Dying…which, has now flipped over to including people who are suffering from Mental Illness and Depression.
And given the cost of living, cost of groceries…where people need to opt for Supplements (until the Liberals jack up these prices too), will need to rely on, in place of quality and natural quality foods.
So…instead of our elderly and seniors relying on eating cat food…
Instead of you being able to afford a good steak…
You will be encouraged into maintaining your muscle mass through supplement shakes that reduce your happiness and drive you into a state of depression.
Adding to this...they're using High Protein Supplement Shakes that have CAAs (Competing Amino Acids), under the guise of Nutrition, which REDUCE the impact of Tryptophan creating an Acute Situation of depleting happiness.
Now…I’m not trying to sell you pills or supplements…not even trying to talk you into what you should be buying…what I want to do is just share a little information that is actually quite fascinating…something you may not have realized about one of the amino acids you’re going to have in your Christmas (Thanksgiving for my American Subscribers) Bird and how amazing it actually is.
And then, want you to realize how disgusting the world of meal supplementation is…and how driving nutrition through meal supplementation is literally leading the lemmings to the edge of the cliff and then giving them one final shove.

Fascinating…while disgusting at the same time.
