Yesterday, early afternoon, London Drugs went on the official Twitter/X account and posted that they’d be closed until further notice, across All Western Canada Stores:
And has since released the following statement:
You’d have to wonder what sort of cybersecurity “incident”, would cause them to close all stores, “until further notice”…but it can’t be good.
Try to take into consideration the type of information that is stored inside of the pharmacy computers, health and prescription information, personal data, health insurance data…Your Credit Card Information…
So, they apparently shut off their computers, brushed their hands together for this job well done, shut down every single location in Western Canada - about 80 of them…and are going to keep quiet about what’s actually been breeched.
Of course, these are all linked to central servers and databases…so, closing the individual stores would be necessary…but how deep has this data been compromised…and further to this, how many of these locations were central and pivotal to communities?
Not that I lend a lot of actual care being provided by pharmaceuticals…but at the same time, with some scripts, when you just shut off the taps - as in, stop taking your meds - because you cannot renew your prescription, there can be some serious and detrimental side effects. And while I am reluctant to say this at risk of being deemed an alarmist, people’s lives are on the line here.
Appreciating they’ve claim that pharmacists are “standing by to support”, in some urgent cases, what the hell does this even mean?
And really…even in days before massive amounts of damaged immune systems and new chronic issues created by the COVID vaccine were in play…at any time you’d go to the pharmacy, you would watch 4-5 of them doing little more than chattering, empty handed…you’d still be requested to wait 15 minutes for them to look on their shelves, dump out a fist full of pills and count to 30.
What sort of reassurance are you given by their, “standing by to support”…
And what are you supposed to do with your credit card or health insurance information, while they figure this out?
And now are we all starting to realize why computerized data on every aspect of our lives is a REALLY BAD IDEA?
Yikes!
Seems strange indeed when you could still operate accepting cash payments and using written forms to complete pharmacy transactions in the meantime. To shut down your Western operation completely seems highly suspect when even a simpleton like me can figure out a way to keep operations going, even if limited in scope.
Definitely seems Sus.. the data has been “breached” already, so you can’t even go into the store to buy a pack of gum. Unless everything was absolutely crashed. There’s been a lot of the point of sale card machines going down or slowing down lately. Hopefully people will start to understand how easy it will be for them to “turn off” our money, once they finally force the CBDC into place. Sadly this is probably just a warm up operation to ramp up the fear amongst the population.. especially the elderly on medication.
The collapse of the US based financial system is inevitable,so they can usher in the digital central bank money. But if anything I would have thought that would happen around election time.
In any event if you are on meds, best stock up if possible.. is Shoppers next?
This is probably just the beginning of the “Cyber Phase” of Dr Evils (aka Klaus) frontman/spokesman for the elites Agenda, unfortunately.
