There are going to be some very large hurdles in this…given that anybody who is of Chinese Decent, will be heavily scrutinized and it doesn’t even mater what side off the aisle they stand on.
We are headed for a very bad place for the Asian Community, here.
And it’s a shame that all will be painted with the same brush and forced into the same scrutiny.
Are there certain cultural influence that have shaped our politics?
Absolutely.
There is no question…but it’s not to the extent we are seeing right now.
So…while I feel your impression that maybe racially biased, appreciate that Doug Ford, the least Asian guy you’d ever meet, is also on this list.
It’s not a racial thing - though will tend heavily towards certain distinct communities.
I want you to remember over this last few years about those who passed judgement based on bad information and media coverage…and realize how divisive this is…and that it absolutely cannot be tolerated under any circumstances…not race, nor creed, nor the color of your skin, national origin nor religious beliefs.
YES.
We will have certain biases, but we aren’t going to turn this into a battle against culture, right?
Please…let’s not do this.
Division has done absolutely ZERO over the last 3 years and won’t do anything in the next…
We need to be united is on how this happened, and who continued to allow it.
And I’ll be happy to hear your comments…host a townhall on this…but will not be any part of dividing Canadians based on immutable characteristics.
Just wanted to tip into this…
The corruption came from Communists. That just happen to be in China. Who are dictator gangsters that abuse Chinese citizens.
The Chinese people are as much a victim as anyone else. Mao killed millions during his regime.
Focus. It’s about the corruption and the Communists.
Keep Canada free from this threat. For all Canadians. Including Chinese Canadians.
Don’t fall for the Leftist misdirection of identity politics and the slander of racism. It’s a trick. It’s what they do.
I have a friend from Iran who once said to me, “people often confuse the citizens of a country with its leadership.” That comment has stuck with me ever since.
