I said that I was going to provide an update on paid subscriptions into the New Year and welp…here it is.
While I have some things planned that may require a few extra funds from our community, into 2024…I wanted to provide fair warning to those who are already struggling.
Paid Subs will resume on January 1st, or maybe second…I don’t really know how this thing works. And it doesn’t mean that you will be charged on this day, just if you’d paid for a month or year and services were suspended 6 months ago, your sub date will be slated with a fee or resumption of service based on the year.
YOU, being a part of the YakkStack community means more than a monthly Paid Subscription…so, if you have to cut off your paid support, don’t feel bad. I get it. No explanation required.
If this cuts you off of being a subscriber, but still want to be a part of our little community, please just re-sub as a free member.
From the beginning, I’d never intended this to be a part of a pandemic payment opportunity and it won’t become one now. If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you will know that everything I’ve received, I’ve put back into the community by way of donations, speaking engagements (costs) and upgrading my gear…and will continue to do so.
This will happen with or without your specific donation.
No…I’m not a rich fellow and a lot of this has caused me to go into my personal savings as well has costed me funds through employment and job opportunities and will most likely continue to do the same, in 2024.
It’s of little matter.
What we are doing together is my investment into the lives and future of my children and grandchildren and you are still a part of this.
So…
With that…
Thank you for all of your support throughout these last few years.
I wish you all of the best into the New Year.
And I look to maintain your support, with or without your paid subscription.
All of my best.
Sheldon
Thank you Sheldon, for both your excellent writing (and stats!) as well as your generosity. Your Substack has helped keep me sane and hopeful through these upside down years.
Happy New Year. I will certainly subscribe. I very much enjoyed your book-do you have another in the works?
Cheers!
Jan
Very much value and appreciate all you do, Sheldon; looking forward to renewing my subscription !
