I have a lot of catching up to do…so am trying to get this done so that I can start to be current and will be looping a lot of things together for the simple reason, they are all intricately looped together.
I’m not going to take a lot of time to tell you about how the Unions and the NDP are effectively the same thing, because this is something that you already know and for the most part, what I am going to be breaking down.
To start off with…it’s taken 3 years to just get updates on the election donors to third party advertisers, that seen the absolute worst mayor of Calgary, installed by the unions.
This is done through fear and smear campaigns, which we’d seen an overabundance in the last Provincial Election, where the NDP were successful in flipping 11 seats orange…but also extends into the Municipal Elections through social media campaigns, rallies, signs…
In this…after 3 years of waiting, we seen this:
$1.7 Million Dollars from Calgary’s Future - where there were only 6 contributions, all made by Civic Unions that went to install the mayor.
Why?
So that she could in turn support the provincial NDP candidates through policy and union support. The quid pro quo of, we support unions, you get more money, we take more of your earnings through dues (calculated on a percentage basis), and never have to actually campaign for election finances to keep in power.
As an example…on the Alberta Pension Plan, so far and up-to-date, I believe the NDP to have had a lot more rallies opposed to the APP, because it’s something that Smith wants to offer to Albertans…they’ve funded the Provincial NDP to host these rallies, where the UCP would have to fund their own.
Let’s add in something a little more current and a hot-button for All Calgarians…the Blanket Rezoning that could have gone to a plebiscite, but our Union Installed City Councilors, voted down. This Blanket Rezoning is a Federal Liberal Idea…the fact that this was proposed by almost every municipality that Trudeau visited to offer millions of federal dollars for, with their Housing Accelerator Fund, shows that this wasn’t a coincidence and Gondek even openly stated that she’d already agreed to this, for Calgary to get some sweet federal funding.
Well…turns out that given the Recall Gondek efforts, a lot of Calgarians are awake to her brand of BS and are speaking loudly…now turning this into a conversation, scheduled for April 22nd, 2024 - at City Hall. There will be hundreds in attendance to this soirée to not only speak, but to also protest this idea.
Nobody asked us…and if they did, we’d have told them to kick stones.
Reason being, crime rates are already through the roof in Calgary, city police unable to tend to anything that deals with personal property and can barely even keep up with physical harm or death. Adding in more low cost housing will see this increase. Add to this, try and hang out in your backyard when you have a 4 or 8 plex that was just installed as your neighbor and your privacy is gone…so is your parking.
There is only one question that really needs to be asked in City Hall when comes to the idea of Blanket Rezoning…How many Calgarian Home Owners requested to have a 4 or 8 plex to be allowed in their neighboring property?
Because if this answer is ZERO, then ZERO homeowners actually support it.
As a last ditch effort to try and convince Calgarians that all of their neighbors actually want to see this, Gondek took to a presser to let everybody know that liberated people have given up on the idea of owning their own homes and would prefer to rent.
What?
Yup…
We’re still stuck in the 40s, 50s, and 60s…
No…Jyoti, we’re stuck in an affordability crisis driven by unsustainable mass immigration that has collapsed our healthcare system, overpopulated our communities, is a strain on our social programs and has consequently driven up housing prices by way of simple economics - supply and demand. Short Supply…prices go up.
We know that Gondek was funded by Unions…but she’s only one vote and one voice on this, right?
Welp…I don’t think so.
For a Rezoning Town Hall tonight, Andre Chabot has Union Pressure, already being applied.
And we don’t know how many others do…with exception to say, again…any city councilor, representing their constituents, would have to get some support on this from people who generally don’t want to see the impacts mentioned above (and others), created by a higher population density of lower income properties.
This will force Smiths hand…she’s already spoken out about the Feds dealing directly with Municipalities…stating, in no uncertain terms that she wouldn’t support Trudeau or any other Prime Minister overstepping their boundaries on dealing directly with Municipalities due to inefficiencies.
She’s not wrong.
Where the PM refuses to even meet with the Premiers on what Provinces have to say…why should we be taking advice on our communities?
Here’s where things start to get a lot deeper.
Back in February, AHS went to the table demanding more money…as unions commonly do, threatening all sorts of chaos.
While costs of living are Through the Roof and while Healthcare Workers may be seeing some difficult working conditions…25%?
They aren’t the only ones feeling the burden of the Union Placed NDP Leader, that unilaterally has supported all of the terrible policies that have driven the affordability crisis in Canada - Jagmeet Singh and the Supply and Confidence deal with the Liberals.
But, in a healthcare system that is already collapsing under weight of high immigration numbers, they do have some bargaining chips. This wedge meant to show Smith as the bad guy, will have people supporting policy they don’t like, just to be on the opposite side of Smith.
It goes on further, because the 22,000 members of the AUPE are also asking for a hefty bump in salaries of 26%…that they got offered something a lot more reasonable by the Smith Government - 7.5%:
There is one more piece to this…where AHS and the CUPE are working to agitate Smiths’ base by offering the CONVID Booster Jabs to eligible groups - every 3 months, including babies as young as 6 Months OLD!
As well as putting them on the Children’s Vaccine Schedule, for as young as 6 months and older:
And I have to tell you, this is a very effective tool to piss off a lot of Smiths’ base.
Myself, of course, included in this.
(I will be drilling this out separately for parents to be able to share by way of safety, using provincial and federal statistics)
From what I understand…Smith is actually powerless when comes to what is already federally approved, which would mean she’d have to launch a lawsuit against the feds on this and then be tarred and feathered prior to the Federal Election, impacting CPC support.
Summarized…
Unions support provincial and federal NDP, because they get better support for higher wages.
Union Dues continue to grow and are used to take over our democracy by influencing votes and elected officials.
All of this speaks against a Conservative Government and what Albertans want to see, namely - as little to do with the disastrous Federal Coaligned Government, their policies and their failing pension plan.
Smith has a lot of challenges that she’s facing…as do all who oppose being further punished by the feds.
Just thought I’d keep y’all looped in…in case you’d missed any of this.
Told you I have a lot of catching up to do…More tomorrow on Childhood CONVID Vaccines in the Province, the disaster that is Jagmeet Singh and if I have time…drill out a little Nenshi for ya!
Glad you are seeing this. Unions in Alberta are causing big problems *with other people's money*, but watch your back. Historically unions have been known to get rough and nasty.
I grew up in a mining town and know the history. I am very much in favour of unions, especially where employers were abusive and cruel.
Public service workers generally are not facing the sorts of abuses that require unions that do more than handle everyday grievances.
Public service did not allow unions until mid twentieth century because it was understood that public service was safe and secure employment.
Like the federal Liberals and their NDP lapdogs, public service unions in Alberta are far and away out of their lane.
These contemptable unions failed to protect their members threatened with dismissal for defending their personal rights, but rather they spend funds on projects that most members would never approve if asked.
Due to their unfair leverage over the public, should public service unions even be permitted to exist?
Unions were created to level the playing field where there was uneven bargaining poer between employers and individual workers, but is this the case in public service?
It seems that these unions have undue power over govenments, holding the public hostage, and the tail is wagging the dog.
Their very existance should be open to debate.
These unions need to have their wings clipped and their activities restricted to their legitimate purposes.
Legislation or the threat of legislation is needed STAT.
Yesterday would not be soon enough.
Alberta Health is still recommending that babies 6 months and older receive the covid kill shot. Health Canada has an advisory saying there is carcinogens in the injections. What's up with that?
