Our family is great at planning events…just terrible at letting me know when they’re taking place.
An example, when I booked beers with you all for my Birthday, as it turns out, this was the night intended for our family get together for my Birthday…so, it got pushed a week. In my defense, we’d all come to the agreement that Saturdays were going to be our family day to allow for Sunday recovery.
That’s kind of what I was counting on again for this coming weekend, knowing that my oldest Granddaughter turns 5 on March 4th, figuring for a Saturday family gathering…Nope.
Apparently, there are already plans for Saturday, including food and snack prep for Sunday…
Going to push this out until Saturday, March 9th. Pretty sure that this should be a better day, will go for an early call so that you’ll have the rest of your day free…and keep all of Sunday available for church.
Again, sorry about the delay.
Just happy that I didn’t miss it
Loved your comments re being the last to know about timing of family events. My husband and I are a blended family and he is always the last to know what is going on with his family. It drives me crazy.
With warm wishes to your granddaughter on her 5th birthday, March 4th. I too will be celebrating that day for my daughter's 49th birthday. It's all good. Enjoy.
