Premier Smith with some Masterful Kung-Fu
It's not about the quantity, Rach; it's about the quality.
The fact that the provincial NDP party is the same as the federal NDP party goes unrecognized by a lot of people.
The fact that most people have no idea that the Federal Liberal and NDP are in bed together to keep their jobs and pensions safe…Not so much.
We all get this and all know that the NDP are supporting the Liberals for political bribery…I mean…that’s what it boils down to really.
There are a lot of pissed off people with this relationship.
We’ve seen some horrendous things come out of this…
So…rather than getting all drunked up and and spam posting the Twitter, Premier Smith has fired some damned decent shots…very strategically.
None so good as this:
She’s calling for Rach to support Alberta against the Liberals who’d like to collapse our energy market...and kill jobs…in favor of green jobs…like replacing lightbulbs and shower heads (I still can’t believe this was the best that Notley could do in Green Job Creation).
And all Smith has to keep doing is forcing this same question on this, until she gets an answer on this…or on anything else Trudeau throws at Alberta.
Will you support Alberta, Rach?
Will you support our industries, Rach?
Will you support the Albertans who are struggling to afford food against the Carbon Tax, Rach?
I mean…this could go on and on.
And if Rach doesn’t address each and every one of these, support is going to drop hard and fast.
While there were some fence sitters who could have gone either way, pissed off at Kenney, unsure of Smith…NDP may have seemed like an option. That option is going to be whittled down, rapidly.
And the abysmal failure of Kenney will be forgotten in weeks…because people will remember that as poorly as he did at his job, he wasn’t close to the same plane as Ontario Premier, Rob Ford → Trudeau Ass Kisser and was a lot better than Notley.
Rach is in trouble here…
I don’t think any of them planned this out to well before ‘Just Transition’ was rolled out.
This is going to get ugly!
Rachel was so busy strutting around thinking she had put her opposition to the Sovereignty Act in her 'win' column, she wasn't even aware that Justin had dug her a big hole to fall into. Let's hope Danielle brings a backhoe and fills that hole in with both JT and Rach in it.
Glad things are looking up in Alberta. Meanwhile in BC: https://twitter.com/healthbyjames/status/1610860398424596480
Are you coming back to Twitter? Many accounts came back. Would be great to get your old tweets back for sharing.
