We have received our pittance of COVID information and weekly data update from the Province today and it’s pretty much exactly what you’d expect.
The Triple Jabbed are still showing a higher risk, only now, that risk has increased on Hospitalizations and Deaths from the previous report and while a 4th dose is rolling out, the 3rd dose has gained almost no traction in a week.
From previous posts, the Boosted population has only increased from 36.7% of the population to 36.8%:
Increase in Doses:
2nd: 3,622
3rd: 9,394
4th: 3,817
And, under the “one born every minute category”, more people were convinced to get a 4th dose of vaccine that has offered no protections requiring a 2nd booster than people who got the 2nd jab.
And how is this all working out?
Well, the Province has removed more Data from the provincial website that used to break down new cases by vaccine status…but according to today’s update, “our PCR test positivity ranged from 24.3% to 29.8%”.
But what we can still see, in the remaining data before it’s completely removed is that we went from 40.91% of the boosted population being hospitalized for COVID to 44.25%. In fact, all Vaccinated groups increased in Hospitalization number the only group whose numbers fell in the Hospitalization Category are the Unvaccinated.
Seriously.
Check it:
Boosted cases Increased by 61 and 3.34%
Fully Vaccinated Increased by 8 cases and seen a slight decrease in representation by .92%
And the Unvaccinated Decreased in the Hospitals than did a week previously and dropping in representation by 2.29%.
As for Deaths…
Again, Triple Vaccinated are higher represented by numbers and have seen the largest increase in deaths from Unvaccinated to Boosted, over the last 120 days:
Boosted Deaths increased by 18.
Double Vaccinated Deaths increased by 6.
Unvaccinated Deaths increased by 2.
Noting that there are 835,390 Unvaccinated Albertan’s and 1,629,405 Boosted. The Boosted population is 2x that of the Unvaccinated in All Ages and makes up 9x more deaths.
And the message that we see today?
If you guessed “more boosters” and more “second boosters”, you’d be correct.
The National Advisory Committee has just released updated recommendations on first booster doses, highlighting that anyone 18 of age or over who has not yet received their first booster, which for most would be their third dose, is strongly recommended to access the additional protection this dose offers.
In addition, as the Minister mentioned, those with the most significant risk factors for severe outcomes are now able to book second booster doses to enhance their protection as transmission rises in the community.
Now…read this next bit.
The vaccines will help prevent serious outcomes.
If you’ve been infected with COVID-19 and still need a first or second booster, we do recommend waiting three months to get it.
But once that time has passed, the additional dose is important, especially for those with risk factors for severe outcomes.
These are simultaneous statements made by a Medical Professional, who would have just looked at the exact same data you did to say what she said.
The vaccines help prevent serious outcomes - which the provincial data shows that they do not.
If you’ve had your 2 doses and still managed to survive COVID, wait 3 months and get a booster…why?
Because by the time you’ve had 2 jabs and COVID a third dose will make sure you survive if you get COVID again but only if you wait 90 days and especially for those with risk factors for severe outcomes.
People have survived over 2 years of COVID now…multiples of injections, and those at the highest risk “with conditions” make up 94% of mortality, 68% of whom have already been double jabbed or boosted. (Going to break this down in another substack)
The same people who needed protection for the last 2 years, still aren’t getting it!
But, at least this year, Hinshaw has tapped out on Cancelling Easter and doesn’t even actually mention the Easter Long Weekend throughout her entire statement, starting 2 days from now with Good Friday - April 15th, 2022, and closes off her public health address with:
COVID will not go away, and as we adjust to living with it, I appreciate everyone’s contributions to the balance of safety and wellness in our communities that will benefit all of us.
COVID is ENDEMIC and will NEVER GO AWAY so we have to just LIVE WITH IT!
Do you think this will hold for all future variants and into next fall?
Me neither!

While this isn’t a Traditional nor specifically Christian send off into the Long Weekend…Happy Easter to you too, Dr. Hinshaw!
Sheldon, once again nailed it. I just don't understand how these "experts" don't read their own data.
Incredible and once again great work. Shared on FB.
