According to the Criminal Code of Canada:
Extortion
346(1) Every one commits extortion who, without reasonable justification or excuse and with intent to obtain anything, by threats, accusations, menaces or violence induces or attempts to induce any person, whether or not he is the person threatened, accused or menaced or to whom violence is shown, to do anything or cause anything to be done.
I want you to take a good and long look at what is going on around you and see if this is maybe happening a lot closer to home than you are comfortable with.
Over the last weeks, we’ve learned that four Canadian Provinces have signed on for “Proof of Vaccination” programs and some - Vaccine Passports. Some places of employment will require proof of vaccination to maintain your employment. If you have complied with the Vaccination Passport Requirements, you will be allowed to exercise your self more freely in open society.
Go to concerts? Yup
Public restaurants? Yup
Sporting events? Yup
Shopping for Non-Essential items? Yup
Family wedding? Yup
Funeral? Yup
Church? Yup
School? Yup
University/college? Yup
Keep your career? Yup
If you haven’t been “Fully Vaccinated” are you going to be allowed the same privileges?
Nope.
But is it Medical Extortion, to mandate vaccinations during a global pandemic?
I’ve drilled a little into this and tried to understand the law and apply it by ‘Spirit’ to the above definition of Extortion, specifically, the bold section, isolated:
346(1)Every one commits extortion who, without reasonable justification or excuse, by threats or menaces is shown cause anything to be done.
Is it reasonable to hold back dessert until your child eats their dinner?
A case could be made...
Is it reasonable to threaten entire sects of people, who refuse medical treatment during a pandemic to get a vaccination, in order to hold the same ‘recognition and declaration of rights and freedoms’, afforded by by the Canadian Bill of Rights?

During a Global Pandemic, if your actions - by way of mandate - could protect you and others, it might be ‘reasonable’. But that’s not where we are at.

Summary:
There have been almost 700,000 adverse reactions following vaccinations - according to the US - CDC, including over 13,000 deaths.
Israel had the HIGHEST peak of COVID-19 spread after a great portion of it’s population has been afforded opportunity to and have been vaccinated.
Canada seen a 90% reduction in COVID-19 ‘New Case Rate’, when only 10% of the population had been “Fully Vaccinated”
Comparing the Province of Alberta to the countries of Canada and Israel, the highest at risk for worst outcomes of COVID are 60+.
According to Alberta Health Services and Health Canada, a combination of Age, Comorbidity and Body Mass put you into the highest risk of mortality from COVID-19.
Possible Conclusion:
The current COVID vaccines, where the data that has been offered in both Israel and Canada, does not support the reduction of spread of COVID through vaccinations and that if you are under the age of 60, do not suffer from one of the outlined provincial or federal identified comorbidities, are at a very low risk of hospitalization and mortality by taking a vaccine that according to the CDC, may cause adverse events leading up to hospitalization, permanent disability and death.
Does it maybe seem a little like you would have to be extorted into this treatment by threat of job loss or other limited freedoms before you’d ‘consent’ to these vaccinations? Booster shots?
This is only a statistical overview of the world around us at current and should absolutely not be used for you to justify quitting your job.
