Do Bad, Be Punished...

Unless you're in the Atlantic Provinces
19

Here’s the statement by dipstick Prime Minister Justin Trudeau saying that “there will absolutely not be other carve outs or suspensions on ‘the price of pollution’”, which is of course, completely ridiculous.

If this is an actual Price on Pollution, why do the Atlantic Provinces get a suspension on paying for their polluting ways and have the benefit of Taxpayers coughing up what will surely be billions of dollars for their transition?

It’s literally punishing the rest of the country, while rewarding those who are doing a terrible job at reducing their own emissions.

When Notley did this in Alberta, with Coal, the bill wasn’t passed on to the rest of Canada…it was paid for by the Alberta Government Alberta Taxpayers, much the reason that Rachel Notley is still one of the most hated people in the province and why she lost her last 2 elections to secure being premier of Alberta again.

We remember.

But when comes to provinces that support Liberals…they will be REWARDED instead of PUNISHED for their dirty deeds and it doesn’t matter how you spin this, this is exactly what is happening.

Liberal support in these pivotal provinces is spiraling downward.

The Liberals need to retain seats in these provinces to maintain their reign of tyranny, so…

The Libs take the credit for gifting them a reduction on taxes and the rest of the bill is added to the generational debt and higher cost of living created by these economic morons.

Add to this, the “Price on Pollution”, while being paused for the Atlantic Provinces will almost double over the next 3 years:

And just how much are the increases in carbon tax adding to inflation each year?

Tiff Macklem says that it is .15 percentage points of inflation…seems like a drop in the bucket, really…but when you consider that this started 4 years ago, the cumulative effect on inflation this year is actually .6% (4x.15). Inflation currently sits at 3.8% meaning that this cumulative .6% is actually 16% of the total inflation that we’re paying out (.6/.38=15.8%).

Which is insane.

And what do we get for or from this?

The Liberals still want you to believe that 8 out of 10 families get back more then they pay…but if those in the Atlantic were already getting back MORE than they paid in, it would seem that they are really losing out by not paying more carbon taxes, right?

But when you add the 2 ideas together…taking money away from 8 out of 10 families in the Atlantic Provinces to force the rest of Taxpaying Canadians to buy Heat Pumps for those same families…where is the savings?

To anybody?

Truth is…nobody is buying what the Liberals are selling on this Carbon Tax ass grab anymore…and I’m not so sure that many really did. It’s just some touchy feely concept wrapped in slogans that the social justice brigades can screech to afford them temporary relief from their otherwise self-loathing lives.

Bottom line…

This isn’t a ‘Price on Pollution’…it’s a tax grift…and even if it were an actual price on pollution, spreading penalties throughout non-offenders to reward the greatest offenders will never make sense.
