As more and more provinces remove data on COVID, it’s difficult to actually bust down the stats to see exactly where we are at.
Of course, this is the intent - they don’t want us to know.
With that data that is still available is quite troubling and while I hope I am completely wrong, I don’t think we’ve actually seen a true pandemic…nothing like what we will be looking at in the Fall of 2022.
Let me explain.
For Months now, a lot of us have checked through the Alberta Provincial Data on the COVID Dashboard →Link
And if you have a look at the ‘Vaccine Outcomes’ tab, you will see this:
Where “Currently Hospitalized” indicates that 81% of the total Hospitalizations are in the Vaccinated Community, only 19% in the Unvaccinated - the Vast Majority of these are Boosted.
This, in itself should be shocking…but we’ve witnessed Months of this exact Trend to the point that it seems almost pearl clutching to even mention it.
However…when you look at what this actually looks like, by way of the graphic representation, you see this:
Total Hospitalizations, at current, are approximately 1/3rd of the previous winter spike. This may be viewed as a Good Thing…in that COVID hospitalizations are down - but this isn’t the entire picture.
What we need to also be looking at is where we are in cases with respect to hospitalizations and here’s where things start to get a little concerning.
6,737 cases in the January Spike, 182 at current.
With under 3% of the same case rates, we are seeing 30% of the Hospitalizations.
From a Hospital Capacity Standpoint…this is what it looks like:
If you remember back to October of 2021, you will remember the Health Care Crisis that we were under and that the Unvaccinated were preventing surgeries and this was the logic used to support the Vaccine Passports - which rolled out in September for Alberta, October Federally.
3% of the Cases;
30% of the Hospitalizations;
80% are Vaccinated;
50% of which are Boosted!
Now…I’ve made mention that COVID is seasonal and typically follows along with Influenza…
Which means that somewhere close to the End of August - Early September…we’re going to start to see another spike in cases.
Will we expect to see the same spike as we did for the original Omicron?
That’s hard to say…but given that 3% of the cases, currently are resulting in 30% of the same hospitalizations…we won’t need to see this same spike to completely overwhelm our hospitals, for the province.
This is Alberta Based Data - I get that…but do you think that this will look different in any other province?
There are already some conversations about spiking cases in Ontario and Quebec…already some talks about moving back to restrictive measures and masks - that didn’t work for the last 2 years…
What do you think we are going to be looking at?
While I hope I am completely wrong on this…we could be seeing the worst case scenario, come fall/winter 2022 - an Actual Pandemic.
And who are they going to blame, then?
And what measures are going to be employed to combat this?
While I can appreciate we would all like to see these conversations end and just hope things move back to normal…every early warning sign of “The Worst is Yet To Come”, are already present and with the province adding Zero Capacity over the last 2 years…we won’t be able to accomplish this in the next 2 months.
People who have repeatedly taxed their immune systems by being coerced into multiple jabs are going to be in for a world of hurt - this not comparing the last 2 dry summers and winters to the current surge in Humidity that the Province has seen this year.
Hip High in Snow and an Overwhelmed Healthcare Situation.
Yikes!
Glad you are reporting again. You should listen to Geert Vanden Bossche... he explains it. If we continue to vaccinate the pandemic will continue. Dr. Alexander says if you want this pandemic to continue for a hundred years keep vaccinating with a non sterilizing vaccine. Tragic !
I guess you decided to stick with it?
Two things.
1) The next few months are going to be HELL.
2) They will blame the unvaccinated. My working theory is that they know the 'vaccines' are ineffective and dangerous but figure it's a political winner. It shows they're doing something and complying with 'customer' demand. If they work all the better (which we know they don't and will not work), if they fail they've already set it up so that they just can look the other way and blame the unvaccinated.
They actually played this 'psy-ops-nudge theory' thing well. The government is good at that sort of thing because the government is psychopathic.
