Over-reporting COVID deaths seems to be a virus of its own.
Since Mid-September, I have posted numerous times on the Alberta CMOH - Dr. Deena Hinshaw has grossly over-reported the COVID Deaths - according to the provincial data that is free for download and updated quite regularly.
Go HERE and click this little button:
Doing this, you would get a spreadsheet of all cases that are Active, Recovered or Died. Sort by Died, copy and paste onto another tab, sort by date - Newest to Oldest and you’d get something that looks like:
According to the province, this is “Data included up to end of day October 17, 2021.
Everyday, and especially since the CMOH exploited the death of a 14 year old brain cancer patient by calling it a COVID death, you’d think that Deena would be a lot more careful in checking the data before reporting. If you thought this, you’d be wrong.
Deena makes her TV appearances and Twitter updates and a day or so after, this information gets published. Assuming that they are actually verifying the data and thus the delay.
If this is the data up to end of day October 17th, one thing you may notice is that there are ZERO deaths reported for the 16th. Also, zero deaths reported for October 14th and October 11th.
NO DEATHS REPORTED - ALBERTA PROVINCIAL WEBSITE.
Can’t be right, can it?
Maybe some data is missing?
If you click on the Highlights Link, you would see:
Total deaths reported - 2976 and if you data sorted out the deaths from the download, you’d see that the Data confirms the Highlights:
Where it gets interesting is if you have a look at the CMOH official blue checkmark Twitter Account for reporting on this date. You’d assume that she wouldn’t report all deaths from the 14th until the 15th, confirmation and all…but looking on the 15th, this is what we find:
16 Deaths, reported on the 15th in the last 24 hours. If you compare this to the data download, even if the assumption for the 14th being reported on the 15th was incorrect, to count 16 deaths you’d have to include those that died all the way back to October 9th - not in the “Last 24 Hours”.
Worse yet, if you visited the Canadian Site - Health Infobase.Canada through the Wayback Time Machine, you’d see that on October 14th, 2021, Alberta has 29 New Deaths Reported:
Instead of celebrating the fact that over the last week, we’ve had 3 days where there were ZERO COVID DEATHS, the provincial and federal government paint Alberta not only incorrectly for these reporting days but the absolute worst of the country.
Even if the people we pay hundreds of thousands of dollars per year don’t want to commend you on this achievement, we all deserve a pat on the back.
Alberta…We’re Kicking it!
Great JOB STAYING ALIVE!
